Overall, this was a great but extremely overpriced experience.

The ambience is great. You have a view over hills of vineyards, there’s a grassy area for kids/dogs to run around, and the building itself is beautiful.

The food was pretty good. The burger was good quality, the fries just standard. We had the focaccia too and it was a good appetizer.

I like Justin wine. It’s on the big side and definitely more of a crowd pleasing than serious wine but it’s good for what it is. As a local comparison, I’ll take Justin wine over Daou wine any day.

Service was good too, attentive even though it was packed and knowledgeable about the wines. No big complaints here.

The one part that was off putting about this place is the pricing. As an example, they are selling Justification for $117 a bottle…my local Costco has Justification for $50!!! They are charging more than double the price!!! That’s just extreme gouging of those customers that don’t know better. And everything is like that. The food, the $150/$80 tasting fees. It’s just all incredibly overpriced.

It was good for a one time visit but I don’t think I’m coming back due to the price gouging.

We went for lunch at Justin. We had called ahead of time and asked if they can take 15 of us. Once we got there we were seated at the patio and told we should sit at separate tables as they will be two servers. But we only got one server, Lorrie. She took order from only one table and assumed as we ordered family style that we are ordering for both tables. The food came after one hour. We asked for bread with olive oil to have something with our wine but it came along with the food. There was hair in one of burgers. We asked for the manager but he never came. Then when we asked why the other server didn’t come yet to take the order. Lorrie says that she did us a favor We asked how by not understanding what we ordered or not letting us sit together? Now the other table had to wait another hour for their food. There was hair in the pasta also that came to the other table. In all of this we wanted to see the manager but he never comes. We talked to him only after we paid the bill. He was no use. Nobody apologizes. This is such a bad service. For a famous winery se did not expect this type of behavior. They just didn’t seem to care. Highly disappointed. The manager Bruce is not fit to be a manager.

We spent the weekend at Justin Vineyards celebrating my husband‘s 45th birthday. From the time we arrived, we were welcomed and greeted very warmly. They were very quick to accommodate our large party. Our server, Vernon, who was the most hospitable, professional and friendly. He did an amazing job and made us enjoy our wine tasting experience. We booked the estate wine tasting and lunch on the patio, and the food was very, very delicious. They have other wine tasting packages available, I am very much looking forward to returning and booking other experiences with Justin Vineyards. Oh, and did I mention they have one of the best wines on the market.

We did the chefs menu for dinner. Quite the experience. Two versions, one is $250 a person, one is roughly $350 a person. Wine is in addition. The service was nice, the food presentation was excellent. Some of the courses were odd combinations.
I would not recommend it unless you are looking for the experience, not the meal.

We went for a tasting at the estate and wow! what an experience! Our host, Kyle was so awesome and the wines were delicious. I will say this..go for lunch! Even if you’ve already eaten, share the cheeseburger. It is hands down the best burger we have ever had!!! 5 people fully agree on this. It is a bit of a drive from Paso Robles, but nothing crazy (20-25 min), and it is sooooo worth the drive! We will definitely be returning.

We had a very unpleasant experience at the luncheon last weekend. Server Lorrie was very rude. The burgers were undercooked, there was hair 2 pasta dishes. We requested pasta without pancetta, but 2 out of 4 pasta dishes were served with pancetta. We were in the 92 degrees heat on the patio for more than 3 hours. Manager Bruce didn't even show up once when we called him many times. I love their wines but will not pick a bottle ever again. We had awesome experience at other wineries in the area! Certainly wont recommend this one.

We had an amazing experience at Justin - Laurie and Margarito were exceptional and we so enjoyed their attention to detail as well as Laurie’s knowledge and accesible approach to the flavor profiles of the wines and facts about the vineyard. The wines themselves are delicious and so were the brussel sprouts!
