Rented from JLF from 2016 to 2019. The landlord at the time Monica Brock was the rudest lady I've ever dealt with. AND she literally stalks her tenants via their social media, so violating. If she is still running things I would not recommend renting from JLF.

Absentee landlord. Thieves. Outright stole my deposit. They said I smoked in the house, which was an absolute lie. I had a new baby and was a model tenant. One pantry shelf had a minor stain from a condiment bottle, the only issue, but got $100 back. I tried to contact Jim Furtado when the manager stonewalled, but no answer. Criminals. Avoid like the plague.

As renters they walked me through for end inspection, was told it looked great just to not get my deposit back. As home builders they have incompetent workers that start yelling and hammering at 730 am, make rude and even racist jokes when outside a client's house and to top it off will not finish their work. Had to sand down and fix the gate myself and fix nails in the fence. Extremely un willing to help or solve problems.

Prices are affordable, the staff is friendly, and they are clear and upfront about the regulations with their rental properties. After two years, I still have yet to have a problem with the company, staff, or lease agreement.
