I met Jessica in 2022 at an open house on a holiday weekend. During that time, I have been looking at the market for 2 years already (I was in no rush and was looking for a dream home). At that time, I had a different agent, who was not encouraging and negative about my budget. I literally arrived to the open house minutes before closing. Jessica was the agent there and was really nice and welcomed us to view the home and answered questions as well. We spent 15 min looking and were not rushed or anything. We made conversation and kept in touch. Jessica was never pushy about turning me into her client. We attempt to bid on the home but was overbid. During this time, I admired Jessica's work ethics and asked if she would be my agent. I was open with Jessica about how I was in no rush to move and was looking for a dream home with a certain budget AND I was an inexperienced first time home buyer. Jessica was never condescending or annoyed with these facts. We met up in the middle of the day in the middle of the week to view homes (time that worked for me). Jessica was always punctual and willing to tour houses with me. She listened to the pros and cons we have for all the tours.
Jessica is the reason why I was able to purchase my dream home. 2 months in with working with Jessica, I asked if I can view a home that was already pending. I never considered this home as it was slightly over my budget, but I was trying to appease my parents who wanted to go see it with me. Jessica made it happen, we went and immediately fell in love with an already pending home. Jessica kept an eye on it for us and notified us immediately when she got wind that the previous offer fell through; this was our chance! We submitted an offer below the asking price. Not sure if it was because it was the weekend or something and we were the only one offering, the seller accepted our offer. We later found out that 1 day after the seller accepted our offer, another party wanted to make an offer which would have outbid us. If it wasn't for Jessica being proactive, we would have never beat the other party and I would have not been able to purchase my dream home. I wholeheartedly owe many thanks to Jessica!
