We started talking to Jen before we even knew we were serious about buying a house. She had a really helpful tool that helps me understand the market (before we even moved to the area!) and see what was available in all the different regions. I can’t believe that we only viewed two houses until we found the one that we wanted! It was crazy that I emailed her at midnight and she was able to land us a showing pretty much the next day. Coming from San Francisco it’s surprising how slowly most people in the SLO area reply to messages but Jen is easily the most prompt person in all of the 805 area - from the beginning she will shows how much she’ll hustle for her clients! As first time homeowners, having her help us with every detail through the entire process was critical - from looking, finding a lender, home inspections, and even finding multiple bug guys! It was really comforting to know that she understood all the nuances of this process and she was connected to all the right people that we knew we could trust! Especially since the process moved SO quickly in such a hot market and everything is an urgent decision. She was extremely reasonable and realistic about what an offer would look like to win, which we appreciated because it means that we didn’t have to have unrealistic expectations and be let down when looking for our home. We’ve been at our home over a year now and I have to thank Jen for all she did for us! We couldn’t have done it without her. Jen went above and beyond for us in an absolutely crazy market. We ended up buying an off-market home because she hit the pavement hard, contacting numerous homeowners whose properties we "picked out" from the street to see if they would be interested in selling. It only takes one to respond affirmatively and indeed, she made it happen!! Jen made us feel like we were her only client - so responsive and ON IT whenever we had a random brainstorm or wanted to talk about our options and next moves. Jen Kennedy was a great agent for us in our search for a new home on the California Central Coast. Jen made a hugely positive first impression on me. I met her at an open house; she asked what we were looking for and took notes! Jen contacted me that night with some listings that met what I had described. This kind of responsiveness may not sound like a lot but I met a number of agents that weekend and while they generally got back to me days later, they did not remember anything about what we wanted except a house.

My husband and I soon met Jen in person (pre-pandemic) and got even more specific about our desires. She listened and steered us towards Arroyo Grande, which had not been on our radar (we were moving in from another part of California), pointing out its charms and proximity to SLO and observing that house values were generally better than in SLO. Once we found a house in a new development near the Village, Jen helped review contracts, recommended handymen and landscapers and more. And Jen helped us celebrate the day we closed on our new house. Jen was a wonderful part of our team throughout the whole process, and we would recommend her services without hesitation.

Jen Kennedy is a super top realtor. We moved to the area from Colorado and really didn't know the Central Coast. She gave us a very accurate crash course so that we'd be able to determine the best location for us to purchase a home. She knew exactly what we did and did not want.
