I signed a 6 month lease with these people.
Two months in , they ask me to move in less than one week because THEIR insurance doesn’t cover my business! I have my own insurance and Jon Simmons was very aware of my business and what it entailed and offered me several options since he knew my clientele was heavy. I was up front and honest with him about my business and told him the issues I was having with finding a space. Prior to signing any lease contract I asked Jon if he was sure I was good to operate on his commercial property. He assured me I was and guaranteed it was no problem. Once on the tour . Again during the contract signing.
Amber was very inconsiderate and tried to threaten me with false information about tenant/landlord laws.. luckily I’ve been in property management for 7 years so I knew my rights and I’m aware of all fair housing guidelines . I would sue for discrimination because they have no legit reason to ask me to leave, except for the fact that the companies surrounding me are “white” owned and they really aren’t too fond of the black girl.

Do not sign a lease contract with J.Simmons Properties LLC! ! ! They will switch up on you in a heartbeat and flip it on the tenant.

I do not recommend this place to anybody!

I have been trying to reach these people for months and no one has called me back? I have 5 payments sitting somewhere in their office that have not been processed? I want to make sure my storage unit is safe and my stuff is safe!
