RareBird Property Management is affiliated with the RareBird investment club, which I highly recommend for anyone interested in or involved in real estate investing. They are constantly tracking Portland landlord tenant law changes and are able to ensure that we stay in compliance with the latest changes. When I bought the duplex I reached out to the RareBird Investor Network and was matched with a realtor who knew my market, found listings I would not have on my own, and was able to match me with the right property after only two showings. It was a great experience.

I hired RareBird Property Management initially to manage one of the units in my duplex. I lived on the other side and didn't want to take the chance I would inadvertently violate landlord/tenant law. I also didn't want the stress of making sure tenants' needs were met to the level they deserve. It was important to me to engage a property management company who would manage the relationship and provide a high degree of customer service to my tenants as well as me.

When I needed a property management company, I interviewed several property management companies and was impressed with RareBird Property Management's professionalism, knowledge of the market, experience handling units like myself, and personal attention. Chris has been my primary contact and he's exceptional. He understood my needs (minimize rental loss) and got my first unit on the market and rented quickly. He clearly provided information I needed and guided me to making smart choices. He kept me from making a bunch of dumb choices and choices that might have caused me issues. He clearly expressed RareBird's needs and requirements and worked with me to make this a mutually beneficially relationship.

Pretty much immediately after filling my first unit my family decided to move out of the duplex. Chris leapt into action, managing the turn and working to fill the unit quickly. He's very able to roll with a changing environment and his experience doing property managment is key. He has saved me money and made my life much less stressful. He's also always pleasant to deal with. My residents are happy with him and that makes me happy too.

RareBird Property Management is a great choice for any size building. I would recommend them to anyone.
