I have had wonderful experience renting with Investment and honestly never had an issues with this company. I’ve rented an apartment for a year so far. With pleasure of working with Hayley at Investment Realty Maintenance - she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that all my maintenance needs were addressed. Despite me always end-tripping in maintenance requests, Hayley never missed a beat and made sure I was always taken care of. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail have made a huge difference in my experience and I’d like to thank her for that. I was in a civil court case with this company for months. Their lawyers ended up calling me to pay out before the first court date. But I wanted to try to reveal how this company treated me and how they might be treating others, as well or worse. So I rejected their first attempt to buy me out outside of court. I deserved my time being mentally abused by their company, and my money back. Judges told me to get a lawyer, but in a civil court case a lawyer is unnecessary . The judge in the first court case interrupted me while I was trying to confess to him, and how they neglected to care about the public safety hazard of the home and the environmental hazards a broken electrical plug in they never fixed either, and it would work off and on. The judge didn’t ask the company’s lawyers any questions, but dismissed the case in the middle of me telling his things. He read my typed statement, but he did not ask much about it or it seemed he didn’t read the entire statement, for how fast he went through it. He dismissed it, so I filed a tour de novo and opened the case back up. They assigned a judge whose wife works for the company, so he couldn’t judge it and it wasted more of my time, causing more mental turmoil. Then the next judge also had an affiliation with the company, so they assigned a STATE judge, a judge NOT from Rolla. Because it seems very serious what’s happening I feel. I have a sister that went through a court case a while ago, a couple years or one year ago, and the court believed her so easily about her statements towards a certain man. But the courts neglected me just as bad as the company, I guess because of those judges being affiliated with the company I was speaking up against. I’m very sorry I spoke up against how I have been treated, I usually am either silent or happy, and actually I’m very funny also, with a timeline to prove it.
In the photos there was a mass amount of work to be done on the house. But it seemed odd the company seemed more adamant on painting the outside like masking what was really going on inside the house. And me, I was trying to encourage them to fix it because it’s against the law to rent out a unit actually with environmental and health hazards. There was basically poop that was never cleaned up and was stuck so deep in the bathtub it turned into mold? I had an agreement with a worker, who told me they would give me a 24 hour notice before coming over for such things like appraisals or other things to schedule if I was available, or I could give them the clear they could go there when I wasn’t there. But I didn’t want them there sometimes if my house was a mess or I needed to prepare before they came over, and sometimes I didn’t have time. I had several jobs and was so overwhelmed. They didn’t want to make appointments to make fixes either it was just them showing up.
I was trespassed on consistently, and when I was getting ready for work at times. I was lucky to have not been in the shower when they would just show up after I said I needed to plan things for them to show up, it’s a standard in renting laws that landlords just don’t show up or the managers. I have videos of one of their employees coming in and me saying no sorry I’m getting ready for work and he aggressively sort of moved around me anyways so I had to call the police and the police said they couldn’t come in also basically. They don’t have a warrant, they can’t come in. I also suffer from PTSD and am medicated for it, and they really spiked that in me and caused a lot of mental distress. I wish they would have put the energy into fixing the unit instead of pestering me and making me feel like I deserve to be neglected, trespassed on, and more tort law accusations as well. I would encourage a company to not manage units that jeopardize your business with the law and state of Missouri. If they called the pest control to get of bugs that were in my cats food, they can call a carpet, electrical business or a bathtub business to clean the poop/mold.

Hayley came over to our rental home to look at some flooring we were having issues with. Within 2 days a vendor was reaching out to us and setting up a time to come view our problems and send off an estimate to get approval. If I could leave zero stars, I would. So far since renting with Investment Realty I have regretted my decision. They have a horrible customer service and a horrible turnaround time for maintenance requests. First week into my apartment I had the ceiling in my bathroom leaked and they did NOTHING to solve my issue. Almost everything in our apartment is bad, we cant open the windows because our windows screens have big holes all over. It's incredible how they lease these apartments in such poor conditions.

We look at several places though investment in Rolla, both my husband and I had to pay $77 application fee and other fee. They did approved our application on a place then when we called about they told my husband that the people decided to stay. So we asked if we could move our application to a different place and we did , but there was people still living there and it wouldn't be available until August, but they want us to sign a lease and pay upfront 3 months before the place would be ready. We decided not to do that. So fast forward to August we seen another place we was interested in so here we go paying another $77 a piece, thinking we would be approved for this place since they just listed it that day. We filled out our application and paid our fees, just to be told that they found something on our back ground check that until we took care of it they couldn't approved us on that house or any houses. Something that was over 16 years old, they wanted proof that it was settled, but being that long ago we didn't have anything. I ask her how come we got approved back in May but now you can't approved us, all she said was that she understood our frustration but without the required documentation we are unable to move forward with your application at this time. You are crooks you take peoples Money for application fees and then tell us that we can't get anything.

Serilda has been incredibly helpful to me and my husband in both of our rental experiences through Investment Realty. I’ll be honest, we basically heard nothing good about this company any time we mentioned that we were renting through them when we first moved here, but we personally have had no issues whatsoever.
