Unethical company and management. Not even a month of living at 141 Indigo and a list of issues: AC not working, dishwasher not working, windows leaking water above electrical outlets, subsequent water damage causing cracks and discoloration in walls/ceiling, not cleaned from the last tenant, glass & screws in the parking areas, frequently no hot water. This place is a trap, not “elevated, modern living”

I used to live in this building, in apartment 2J. Back when they first opened in 2010. I was one of the very first residents under Blackstone. I stayed for a year and then relocated to the south. But I can tell you I loved my apartment back then. Not sure what it's like in the building now, but when they first opened, it was a great experience!

I stayed here for a year, in the newly constructed block. The apartment offers a shuttle service to and from the Newark penm station in the mornings and evening, which made my commute go office super convenient.

Also the building is located near Brick Church station, where trains to NYC Penn station are available and you would reach NYC in just 25minutes.

The building staff are very helpful and friendly, they resolved all my issues on time. Any issues in the unit, you can report it via a website and the building management would get it fixed in max 1-2days.

100 % recommend to someone who is looking an affordable studio apartment.

Hey all I have to say do your research and personally i wouldn’t rent here, and here are some reasons why 1. Management is not responsive, you can call them but won’t get an answer or you can email them but they dont reply back only when they want to or when it’s convenient for them. 2. If your late on your rent and even if the month isn’t over and you tell them you will pay before the month is over they don’t care they will evict you FOR 1 MONTH LATE RENT sounds crazy to me if I’ve have known this I wouldn’t rent here and it’s not like I wasn’t trying to pay. 3. Maintenance / Property manager didn’t tell me that the walls leak water when it rain then causing mold to grow and discoloration on the walls and an odor. So well, I contacted maintenance and put in a maintenance request. They declined it or canceled it for whatever reason, so after a 1 month I put in another request because who want to live with mold and leaky walls and nobody contacted me. So I decided to contact the health department of East Orange, New Jersey, and they contacted management Then all of a sudden they want to come and fix whatever is messed up in the apartment now yall had a whole month why yall want to come now ? But hey if you like these kinda issues rent here if not then don’t. they just want money here don’t get scammed because I feel like a lot of people here go through this especially the mold and leaking and all they do is a temporary fix. Just want people to be aware cause this isn’t fair people work hard. And last thing don’t believe the 5 star reviews because if you try to look them people up they don’t exist.

Horrible place to live. Don’t walk but RUN AWAY. Indigo 141 is advertised as elevated living but in reality you will be living under poor conditions. When it rains the apartments will flood, causing water to build underneath the floors which will take days to dry. When you reach out to management about any concerns they could care less about their residents or their concerns. The amenities are not in use and are always locked. The gym is literally a DIY gym with minimal equipment. They also have MICE! They have a horrible plumbing problem and refuse to fix the root of the problem. This place is a money pit, they will overcharge you for the bare minimum of living. It is not worth it at all. They also claim that it’s 24/7 concierge but that also is a lie, after 5pm concierge leaves, so if you have a problem after that you’re on your own. Management could care less, they just want your money honestly. BEWARE when thinking of moving here. It’s a living nightmare

This property looks good and well managed on the outside and in common areas, but my experience on the first floor has been hell. Multiple things in the apartment have malfunctioned, including my freezer, and they take their time with addressing it. I was not refunded for any of the groceries that spoiled. The management is terrible as Albert has no answers to any questions regarding maintenance or anything that goes wrong in the apartment and directs you to an email address that doesn’t even respond to problems same day. I have had a pest problem for over a week and it is still not being addressed or a reduction in my rent at the very least is not even being considered. I thought this place was well managed and put together, but looks are truly deceiving. I would not recommend a unit on the first floor, and I’d proceed with caution if you’re considering renting here at all.

Apartments are uninhabitable in the winter. We hadn't had real cold in a while so didn't know this last year. Heat can't heat the space bc the windows leak too much and so the heat bill will be 400 to still be cold. The building lobby is nice, concierge 24/7 which is nice and all of the people at the front desk are kind, accommodating, and part of the community. Amenities here are basically non existent, they're still remodeling although charging the "remodeled" price. Gym is poorly maintained and does not have free weights, no bar, no smith. Limited for anyone who wants to get a real work out in. Roof has been locked with bike locks for months with no explanation as to why. Resident lounge is unfurnished. They are able to charge more rent by promoting these but you can't actually use them. Floor plans for the lofts on the website are for another building I think bc they show a bathroom upstairs but there isn't one. Kitchen is out dated, counters are made from some terrible material that is absolutely not quartz, bathroom is outdated but the design still sorta works so it's not that bad. The thing to know is that there is an old part of the building and a new part of the building. Generally I just think they could give more attention to the details they are charging higher rent for (compared to the rest of the area). A small Suggestion that could make a huge impact: rocking chairs or some sort of relaxing seating outside in the front.

Worst management company ever! I had a gas leak going on 3 weeks… with a 2 year old in the house and the issue is still not resolved. Property management never answers or fix anything! All they care about is money money money. Doors and knobs always falling off the hinges! Do not waste your money coming here. They never provide you any direct answers or help.
