Brought my home in 2020 should have went with a different company. First I had an issue with my septic tank this happened 1 day after I moved in. Next my microwave door broke and a light fixture failed down. Put in another complaint with them about my garage door it was slightly bending in and sounded like it was going to fall in and was told that I must have locked the door and tried to open it in which I did not, I didn’t know that the garage door had a lock on there. Fast forward to today the freaking screws has stripped out and the dang motor is over heating because these pos didn’t properly install the garage door now I have to do a claim now with my home warranty company. 10 out 10 I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND!

Fix the pool at the garden at ivy hills or I will continue to leave bad reviews. It’s insane that you guys knowingly bought a filter for the pool that is for a pool half the size and I’ve picked dead animals out of this pool. There are lights hanging in the pool area. My
New construction home has had all types of issues, terrible customer service from you all and the HOA at Ivy hills is about as useful as a white crayon. HIRE A DIFFERENT HOA COMPANY TO MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY PLEASE OR GET RID OF HOA ALL TOGETHER.

I recently toured several Hyde Homes with Nikki, their sales rep. We looked at homes across a few different communities, and in several stages of construction. I was really impressed by the building process, energy saving features, and the knowledge of the team I was with.

You can tell so much more about a home when you see what's going on behind the walls. I would have been proud to sell any one of the homes we toured. The project manager really pays attention to what's going on with each home, and that was evident in the quality of construction I saw onsite.

After touring the homes I decided to research some of their claims regarding their home's energy efficiency, and if anything they are underselling just how much money you can save on your monthly utilities by buying a Hyde Home.

I highly recommend Hyde Homes. I think you will get a well built home with a lot of energy saving features at a great price.

Do not buy a Hyde Home, they are dishonest and will always find the cheap way out of warranties or craftsmanship. We have had several issues with our home since moving in in 2021 to include: electrical, pipe leak, drainage issues, and several cracked tiles, and poor painting (painted on light fixtures and completely missed areas). They purposely bait and switch to get you to void your warranty, so they don't need to pay. Take this review as a warning to find other options on you next home search.

At first we were very happy to work with this company. They were very fast to sell us a home. What we didn't know when we bought the home (Which has an HOA) was how many problems we would face after purchasing our home. From AC issues to finding out our dish washer was installed damaged (Roof caved in, didn't learn until first use) which took over a month to replace.

Our most recent problem is their new builds that take priority on our road, the workers keep parking their vehicle's in our yard, On top of that they blocked an irrigation channel that caused our yard to flood with their gravel. I have been cordial and called a few times saying they are destroying the front yard, they have taken no action. They let trash fly all over our yard and leave garbage in the ditches

Today was the last straw, I called their main line and demanded to speak to a manager, no response followed by the call ending and now they wont answer my calls. Do not use this company, they take weeks to get anything fixed and when you tell them their workers are damaging your property, that is held accountable to an HOA for me to fix, they choose to ignore me.

Be very Careful buying from Hyde And or Davidson Homes. We purchased our home in 2020. Everything was good. Fast forward to today. We have an Over Bearing HOA that patrols the Neighborhood daily passing out fines for things that Hyde never told us. We did not sign up with this HOA it was brought in after, Just here in the last year. They are trying put rules in that we were told from Hyde was ok to do. We were never told anything about them selling the HOA or Hiring any company to do it. The HOA should be controlled by Home Owners not a private company hired without the home owners approval. This is the IVY HILLS subdivision.

I’ve held off on doing a review till now. Hyde can’t even install a microwave properly amongst many other things. They use bottom of the bottom builders and have bottom of the barrel quality. Railing in the stairs is uneven and even had Hyde come and “fix” it only to be told it’s supposed to be that way. Drywall plaster is cracking at seams. Have a bowed out section in one wall from poor workmanship. They never come out and fix the issues you call about. Save your money they are scam artist.

We have lived in Ivy Hills for 4 years and loved it until now. Our builders hired Elite housing management as our HOA. They are overbearing, writing everyone up for every little thing that none of us ever knew or saw in our contracts as a rule. Faded mailbox posts, failure to get approval for having a basketball goal, failure to get approval for planting flowers in your landscaping, weeds - it's winter! ...absolutely ridiculous . . Fining people for violations they didn't know about. I do not recommend the neighborhood.
