I've been working with this brokerage for over 6 years doing their photos and videos, and every year they step it up for their clients and are just absolutely amazing to work with. We were referred to Erin Bendis with Huntley Realty, and boy are we glad they sent us to her. We were selling a house from out of state which is a bit of a challenge, but Erin made it the most seamless transaction I think I’ve ever been involved in. Jim Hanger of Huntley Realty went above and beyond our expectations to help us sell our rental property in Huntley. We had never worked with a realtor before on the sell side and were skeptical about the process. Going into it, we actually thought about doing it on our own through a buy owner program. I'M SO GLAD WE DIDN'T! After the experience we went through, I can honestly say, there is no way we could have handled it without Jim's help. He was there to lead us through every single step. He helped us coordinate the third party providers making sure all of the punch list items were addressed, he provided solid advice, and kept an eye on our property when we couldn't. Seller beware! Our realtor recently bid on a home for us that was listed by Huntley Realty. We were the first to bid and our initial offer was rejected. We went back with a higher bid only to have the Huntley Realty realtor say the seller got an offer from someone else and is happy with the offer they got. We were closed out from bidding further and were willing to go much higher and meet their terms. We submitted out bid anyway to get a formal rejection and did get it after much delay. In the end the seller got less for their home than our bid, but Huntley Realty gained a sale and their realtor gained full commission from selling to her client. Seems a little unethical.
