Ok, now for Renee….

I started the lease Dec 2024, within hours of being moved in learned the place on Ash was infested with ants in every single room. Notified Renee, was sent ant traps days later - total of 5 days later. Ant traps - for an infestation? Within that time I called my own exterminator we had ants crawling on us in the bathroom and bedroom. I reported this to Renee. It was awful. Talk about psychological and mental suffering… I asked for reduced rent or at least one month free since we endured ants over a months time…NOPE. Renee was not having it. The space between the oven was filthy with food from prior tenants - she sent someone to clean it and came by and sprayed for ants in between that month but also found time to blame me and my son for the infestation saying it was the trash we threw out ? In day one of moving in How can you blame us on day one of moving in… it is insane? The hallway vent was absolutely filthy along with all the base boards upon moving in… I’ll attach photos. So I put in my month notice to move (twice actually) and agreed with Renee to move 2/9. We did eventually move out on 2/9/2025. Now that I moved out - TODAY, I get a bill via email for $800 Not only did Renee keep the $2900 deposit (I asked that she deduct the 9 days from February out of the $2900 deposit) but she tacked on more and says I owe her? I turned in the keys 2/9 with confirmation from Renee (I have the text) - we had no access to the apartment from 2/9 and now she not only billed me for those remaining days in February and kept all of our deposit but somehow found it in her heart and added another $800

I am hoping this is in error and will immediately remove this review … but if Renee thinks she is winning by taking advantage of hard working people … just wow? I believe the other bad reviews. Wish I would have read them first …

I should have been refunded all my money from the ant infestation AND moved - but I told my attorney I just wanted to leave …. Now Renee is trying to take even more … my advice is DO NOT RENT FROM RENEE - INSTEAD RUN!!!! SHE DOES NOT CARE, SHE DOES NOT KEEP HER WORD OR FOLLOW THE LAW AS IT RELATES TO INFESTATIONS …in my situation. And, the killing part is the neighbors stated they have had ants since moving in 3-8yrs ago!!! So she must have known the ants were there?

I am so frustrated this happened … it is awful actually. Giving the benefit of the doubt this was in error as I just replied to her tonight for her request for MORE money…. My hope is she will do the right thing …if not, this review will stand as my experience. Run!!!!

My mom had been in a house for many years. My dad passed away. So it became to much for her to maintain. Amy helped my mom find a apartment that was just right for her needs. She was very helpful to get her through the process. Thanks Amy!

Only rent from properties managed by HRH Real Estate if you enjoy incompetent management, scummy business practices, and shameless gaslighting.

My girlfriend and I verbally committed to signing a lease and asked for the lease agreement to sign a FEW times. But unfortunately Renee delayed sending it and ultimately the landlord agreed to rent the home to someone else.

My gf and I have 2 dogs and we were being as transparent as possible listing them as a mix, as both of our dogs are rescues. We listed POSSIBLE breeds in our dogs mix but have NO PROOF that all/some of these breeds exists in our dog. Unfortunately, this caused Renee to delay sending agreements bc of insurance problems. We were asked to provide statements from our trainer that our dog was not vicious or show signs of aggression. We provided that statement and asked to reclassify our dog as a Jindo Inu. As all of this is going on, we were told that we're the first in line for this house, so we visited the house to measure our upcoming move while this delay was being handled.

As a result of Renee's lack of communication, the landlord rented the property to someone else. We were extremely transparent and overly communicating to Renee our intentions of wanting to sign and even trusted that she was moving the process along that we visited the home just to measure to prepare for our move. We even sent changes and fixes to the home that are being worked on by their handy man today!

I would not recommend any potential renters OR property owners to work with Renee and HRH. This was an extremely humbling experience and in the future will only work with reputable and professional brands.

Aided and abetted my landlord taking our $6,600 security deposit with no explanation or itemized list of damages. Landlord has since gone radio silent.

Avoid renting with HRH as a property manager.
