The stadium view location was super convenient and having a washer and dryer in the unit was really nice. Management is super helpful. Even as a former tenant they have gone above an beyond to provide me with requested documents.

I stayed at stadium view 2 for 2 years and the management system was very efficient. Maintenance calls were fast solved. The only issue I faced was with the return of the security deposit. I felt the company should be proactive to return the money rather than asking to connect the old premier to the new one.

I lived in the 701 Lucinda. The 2B1b apartment is the best valued type with best location (near NIU PD, next to campus), private washer and dryer, and plenty of parking spots. The staff are always fast in response of my requests. Most importantly, they only charged for necessary and mandatory cleaning when I moved out. I got the most refund of security deposit, even beyond what I can imagine. I have lived in apartments from 4 different properties in Dekalb in the past four years, and I give my highest rating to HPI.

The maintenance staff at hpi has been amazing. Multiple times when my apartment has had major to minor issues they come nearly immediately to fix it. My thermostat was broken and they came the same day to fix it, today my air conditioning stopped working (it was 97 degrees outside, and it got up to 82 inside) and I reached out and literally 2 hours later they had the problem fixed. The maintenance staff, especially - I believe his name is Jorge - is wonderful and quick to fix any issue.
I’ll also mention their response time via their texting option with Amber, Hilda, Laura is awesome. Feels really like you’re taken care of if questions or problems arise.
This is my first renting experience and I’m happy with it.

My fiance and I underwent many management changes with our townhome. It wasn't until HPI took over that we felt a sense of relief and reassurance that we were being taken care of. Amber is fantastic. We were ecstatic about moving out of Dekalb. However, I was saddened by the thought that we might not have the same management experience we did with HPI management. She is personable and professional. She ensures that residents are comfortable, and I am confident that whoever signs with HPI rentals will not be disappointed. I have high expectations, and HPI met them. Thank you, HPI and Amber -- you are all wonderful!

I was fairly new to the dekalb area an HPI was the first housing I moved into and Hilda was amazing help throughout the entire time I housed with HPI ! Great experience !
