Most of us hear about “the housing market” in terms of good or bad for buyers/sellers, and most of us don’t really know what that means until we’re in it. For my family, we knew we wanted to buy but never really knew when the right time was. Thankfully, we had Holly! In October we reached out to her and that first weekend we saw the first 3 houses. She guided us through each home like she’d live in it herself… then ~15 more times in the first 3 weeks. 2 offers, 2 lawyers, 2 weeks of attorney review, and too many meme worthy moments later, we got our offer accepted!!— Unfortunately, though, by probably the least responsive sellers ever. That’s when Holly went into Boss-mode. She drove the entire process. Through Inspections, appraisals, negotiations, access issues, HOLIDAYS, and almost extreme unresponsiveness from the sellers entire team, Holly was there to keep me grounded and sane in this process. Every time we ran into something new, or needed something done, she “knew a guy,” knew what to do, or thought of a creative way to deal with it. Ultimately, we had 3 different closing dates because of these dreaded sellers, but never did she let us get disheartened. Her proactivity and tenacity were exactly what we needed to keep the process on track, and the level of poise she showed no matter what we experienced, really reassured us. We had limited knowledge about the home buying process and the experience she brought was priceless. Now we’re using some of the referrals she gave us to work on the house before we move in in the next few weeks. She really was so much more than someone showing us homes. Reaching out to Holly was the best thing we did in this whole process and I’m grateful for the professional and personal relationship we’ve grown!
