Our experience at Highland Village has been wonderful. The house is spacious, very functional and of good quality. My family and I really like the surroundings, everything is very clean and organized. The place is quiet and very well located.
There are themed events every month and they are incredible, the kids had a great time at all of them. The swimming pool was also a big plus and we really enjoyed it during the summer. We're very happy to live here and intend to stay for a long time.

Unfortunately, my experience with Highland Village was extremely disappointing. Firstly, they seem to have a policy of never wanting to return security deposits. It's frustrating that they always find some excuse to withhold it. Secondly, the quality of their houses is subpar; everything from the cheap carpet to the paint job screams low-quality materials. Lastly, dealing with the property manager was a nightmare. They were rude, arrogant, and made our move-out experience anything but pleasant. I wouldn't recommend renting from them unless you enjoy dealing with unnecessary stress and frustration.

I had a wonderful experience living in Highland Village! The amenities and services here are top-notch. As a tenant, I always enjoyed the various food events and activities organized by the management. In addition, maintenance requests were handled promptly with repair staff coming the very next day. The management even went so far as to pay for a hotel stay when the cold weather caused the pipes to freeze.

The location of the community is also perfect, situated near major highways with easy access to downtown, schools, parks, and Squirrel Hill. The surroundings are serene, safe, and relaxing.

Furthermore, the community features a fitness center, swimming pool, and club for residents to enjoy. I cannot express enough how much I love living here!

A small caveat: I do not (yet) live in this community, but thought my experience was worth the review!

My partner and I have been looking at different communities, and chose to look at Highland Village as the sister property in Lawrenceville did not have any vacancies to show, and we had been impressed with the other Walnut Capital properties we visited. Judy was amazing, and very amenable to showing us the space and answering our questions.

The property is stunning, clean and modern, and we have yet to find anywhere with the size, amenities or benefits that Highland Village offers - we keep comparing every place we have seen to here!

Hopefully, next fall, we can call this our home and update with our experience.

My family and I have been living here for almost 2 years. This community is clean and all of our neighbors are friendly. It’s definitely a family/pet friendly community. Also If there is ever an issue with anything in your home maintenance comes right away. We just signed to stay here for another year!

I love this community! The housing is great, and spacious! Anytime I've needed any help or had a maintenance issue, Judy and Mike have been amazing to deal with! So quick and efficient. I truly feel like they care about me and my dog. I really love the area and my neighbors. Thank you!

It’s been such a great experience living at Highland Village! I love our townhouse which is perfect in every sense - space wise it is great and I especially enjoy the kitchen which has new stainless steel appliances. The community here is wonderful and the management is great! Whenever we need something fixed- they take care of it within hours. Almost every season they do events for the community and have food trucks come in etc! The gym and the pool are also top class!

We absolutely love living here! The management company tries really hard to make safe social events even while living through a pandemic. Several times they have brought out food trucks for all families to enjoy for free. The clubhouse is beautiful as is the pool. We can’t wait for it to open up again in the spring! The few times we’ve needed maintenance, they’ve come right away to get it fixed. The units are spacious and well kept. The property manager, Judy, is great at communicating as well. She responds to messages in a timely manner. Overall I have nothing but good things to say!
