Terrible management. My bedroom wall was against the neighbors bedroom wall, neighbors would fight, bump, and smash things against my wall at all hours of the day and night; after pleading with management to please address the issue they instead resorted to have theirs lawyers send me a threatening letter stating that I had a “person problem” with the neighbors therefore I must not talk to them or talk to other neighbors about them. I had no choice but to look for another place to live as the situation was taking a mental toll on me. Submitted my 30 day notice, but since they never read emails or maintenance request, management was unaware I was leaving. My new leasing agent was requesting rental history and management had no idea it was being requested because they don’t check their emails. I had to call and request it to speed up the process.

Walls are paper thin, management is unprofessional including the regional manager Glynda, who once threatened me because I called her on a weekend when the power was out in my apartment due to a faulty main breaker (my electric was $300 monthly due to their faulty outlets); shared laundry room cost $5 a load with dirty washers and dryers, faulty water pipes that get your water shut off at least once a month, dents and holes in your balcony from cheap flooring, and constant changing management, maintenance personnel, and porters. I was moving out the first week of the month, they expected me to pay the full months rent, they did not provide with my prorated rent and said it was my fault for not calling on the first to ask them what my rent would be,(although they knew for a whole 30 days that I was moving) complete lack of accountability. Do not recommend anyone live here.

This rating is from more of my memories of living in these apartments in '91-92 as a 24 and 25 year old new father, soon to feel the pain of mommy moving out with toddler son. How time flies! That little boy is now 34 and a father of two himself. His mother and I would end up getting married a few years later.
I loved the elevator and underground parking. The Canyon Crest area was, and still is, one of the few nice, upper middle-class pockets of Riverside. I am a North graduate from 1985. As a tennis player throughout high school I loved the tennis court. I am now 57, twice divorced, and have been a teacher for almost 30 years, but I still find myself thinking back to those apartments and wishing I had been able to live there longer.

I have lived here for 4 years! I have to say it has been a very pleasant experience thus far. Very quiet and safe enviornment, excellent location close to major highways and stores. Just be careful not to park on the street on the 1 st and 3 rd Tuesday of every month to avoid a ticket from the city from the street cleaners. If u can remember that your golden:). Not a big deal. I love living here!!

Glenda is doing a great job managing the apartments. Living here for 18 months so far in a 2br/1.5bath and everything is going well.

I love living here. I have made life long friends in my neighbors and the property manager is very professional and approachable. The town center, the nearby bus stops, I could list every single thing I love about this place but that would be long! We have lived here for 3 years and I don't want to ever move.

Overall it was an alright first place to live. There were a few things that bothered me though. I have no issue with kids running around and playing but when it's going until 10 at night and they're running past my door and banging on it while running past, I'm going to be a little annoyed and eventually get fed up. Dogs poop and pee all over the elevators so I learned to avoid them at all costs. One time management sent out an extremely unprofessional letter about people smoking marijuana and a reward would be given out to whoever told them was smoking. Come on, anyone can lie and say it's anyone in the building just to get the reward. It was comical more than anything but just highly unprofessional in my opinion. Make sure to go in and ask them EVERYTHING you need to do before you move out or they will try to charge you with some random fees when you try to move out. I recommend it to college students for sure but that's about it.

We've lived here for 3 years with multiple management changing we've never had any problems up until the new management came along & started harrasing us nonstop putting notes on our door even when we agreed on email or community text messages she yet harrases us by trying to evict me,my husband & my babies out for literally no reason at all...work orders literally take up to at least over a month till this day my roof hasnt been fixed they dont answer any emails or community txt or even pickup the phones i had a cigarette smell coming thru the vents & my bottom neighbor had the same problem as well i would have guest over smelling how horrible it was i had to open the windows everyday during the cold & remind you i have two babies & they dont seem to care they said they'll send a community txt to remind people not to smoke inside the apts but yet that community txt message never happend
