I recently moved into a HERBST property and I could not be happier with my new apartment and with the support team in the office. My move needed to be handled 99% remotely and they were very patient and efficiently walked me through the process. I had one maintenance issue which was addressed immediately and the crew who came to my unit were awesome!

See attached. They believe our son was liable for a door that was kicked in by the people that killed him, among other things. Darian used his own money while living there and not asking for reimbursement to hire someone to do landscape etc.

I have been renting with them since January 2019 and it is currently February 2023 (4 YEARS). I received a letter in the mail yesterday stating they decided not to continue renting to me and lease term will expire March 31,2023. The lease that was signed in 2019 and does not state anything at all about the lease "expiring". I went to the office to speak in person, and ask why did they decide to not continue renting to me because you would only assume there is a reason something like this would happen. I thought it was a mistake of some sort because the letter also stated I notified them that I was moving, I never notified them I was moving. Once at the office I was told "it's no reason, we just have the right to do that". The letter says circumstances will prevent from continuing lease so I asked again, under what circumstances caused this to happen, when I have been here for 4 years and I was told "we just can". Completely unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous! Why disrupt someone's living arrangements for no reason at all other than "we just can" and expect me to find somewhere else to go, pack up and be gone in 6/7 weeks.
*Never had an issue with payments, after 4 years I all of a sudden had a payment issue, such BS*

Absolutely awful. I lived there for 2 years. One day I came home and my back sliding door was off the track and wouldn’t close. It took them 2 days to send someone out. Another time when it was below freezing out I couldn’t get my key to work in the lock and I called for help they couldn’t send someone for over an hour. I recently moved out and
It’s been 30 days. I had to hound them to process my deposit which is loaded with charges including a charge for not returning my keys that I left on the counter. I requested receipts for all the items only to be ignored. I had to argue to even get my last months rent credited to my
Account and they’re refusing to pay me for extra rent I had already paid. They have many properties and do not care about their tenants. I do not recommend them as you will just be a check to them.

O and they will answer your google review before they answer your emails as you can see below.
