This was such a great find! We stayed here for the first time recently and really enjoyed the atmosphere of a traditional motel! Front desk people were wonderful, the room is basic but so cute! Spotless and had everything we needed. Small fridge with a freezer, microwave and coffee maker! Close to Nardi’s so we could walk for a drink and meal. It’s off season so no pool or beach time but great for time away! We will definitely return!

This was my first time here, but my daughter’s grandmother has taken her a few times before. They love it and I see why. It’s in a wonderful location, viewing the sunset from here is perfect. The pool is heated & clean. The whole motel is clean. Our room was very neat, well stocked & we had no issues. The owners are very kind. I felt very comfortable here. We will be back.

Very disappointing motel experience. I am surprised this place is so highly rated. The owner at the front desk was rude to both me and my family from the moment we arrived until we left. He was unfriendly, seemed annoyed by our requests for towels and restaurant recommendations, and even told us to "leave if we wanted to, without a refund" when we mentioned a strange mildew smell in our room. We discovered mold in both the A/C and the bathroom. Very disappointing overall. Location is solid, but you still definitely need a car to drive down to the shops and restaurants.

My husband & I were here for 3 nights in Mid Aug. & loved every minute! I have been coming for several summers along with other members of the family and their kids. You cannot beat this motel for the value. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The grounds & pool are well maintained. The owners are always so accommodating. I have also also stayed in the off-season & very consistently a very positive experience.

It was a last minute Memorial Day weekend gateway plan and everywhere they had 3 nights room available. After requesting to the representative of Haven Beach Motel he was kind enough to let us book a room for 2 nights, charged $165/nights. We could park our car right in front of our room and it was also very quiet and easy beach available.

I was able to book a reservation last min (a week out) for two. The price was good/reasonable compared to the other options on the Island. Some nice perks was being able to borrow beach passes for the duration of our stay & the pool. I would give 5 stars but there was a loose tile above the toilet (that we just tried not touch/move/not make worse) and the lamp & the outlet near the bed were temperamental (we eventually figured out to get them to work). We stayed in the ☘️Shamrock 🍀/#19 room.

HORRIBLE MOTEL!! Do not come here. Aside from the RUDE service by the literal owner of the motel, the rooms have a bad bed bug and ant infestation. When we politely requested a refund or some form of compensation due to these unacceptable conditions, the owner responded with a derogatory comment, telling us to "go back to where we are from," and refused to address our concerns. As a result, my family suffered from lice and ant bites. I strongly advise against staying at this motel.

Unfortunately I felt very 'taken' by this place. I was told by a local resident of LBI that this hotel has decent prices, nice clean rooms and grills for barbecuing. Obviously they have not stayed there recently.
I gave a few nights stay as a gift to a family member only to find out how disappointing the rooms were.
The cleaning crew missed hair in the shower from a past guest, the bedspread had stains (so they laid beach towels on the bed to sleep), and the grill was dirty and rusty.
To pay over $300 & learn of these conditions was upsetting. I cannot recommend this location for a stay in LBI.
