Great quick family morning trip. You will enjoy short walks "hikes" that will range in challenge levels. About 4 or 5 short trails. Children 13 and above would best be able to enjoy the idea of staying on the path and only visually admiring the beauty of the untouched preserve. Detailed nature lovers will go wild when they visit here.

Very beautiful preserve! We went in the fall (November) and all of the trees were changing colors. Everything smelled so good. We also saw quite a bit of wildlife. 8 or so skunks, a variety of beautiful birds, a few bulls and even a wild horse!! The educational center inside was also really great. We will definitely be back!!

I came here on a Sunday morning. I had a great time. The trails have lots of shade. I saw many birds and wildlife. The ranger was super friendly. There are many benches along all of the trails to take a break and to look for birds.

What a great nature hike, much of it shaded by massive cottonwoods and palm trees. We went up to the look-out, which is a bit steep at the end but gave great views. We heard a wide variety of birds and saw several turtles. The story of the house (visitor center) is also very interesting.

My husband and I went here for the first time and it was amazing and beautiful. Only part we didn't like was the look out to big pool of water was closed off and it was really sandy to walk through. Other than that an amazing place! We even saw a skunk and lots of birds.

Great experience for all ages. Alot of educational materials in the visitor center. The kids had a great time finding all the items on the scavenger hunt. We also saw many birds.

We were able to use the stroller easily on the different trails but not on the short trail up the mountain.

I also purchased my annual Regional Park Pass while there.

This is a hidden oasis in the desert for local and migrating waterfowl with lots of trails and opportunities to see other local wildlife.

The trails are well maintained and easy walking. They are dirt but I think wheelchairs should be OK for the main trails.

Mostly stroller friendly for our Uppababy Vista. Lions Trail was too sandy and had to pull the stroller with 2 people.
