Moved in last year. First time ever living in NJ after living in Manhattan for 15 years. I had my tour with Nathalie last summer, Great experience! I been loving my new home here ever since. I always get the help I need from the office, I see them around the building every day. Maintenance always helpful and with a smile. My apartment is HUGE and it’s just so much more space than I could ever get in Manhattan. I love my kitchen and bathroom. The fact that it’s not all white but actually a nice warm design and muted beige and grey colors.

Dec 2024, I visited the new building at Hudson Yards and decided to sign a lease starting on Mar.1st.
In mid-January, they sent over the lease agreement along with a checklist of things that needed to be prepared in advance. I quickly signed the lease, set up electricity and insurance, and replied to them.
After that, things got a bit strange—I didn’t receive any response from them, such as instructions on paying the deposit. I sent three to four emails asking if there was anything else I needed to do, but no one replied.
Feb.26th, I emailed them to confirm the key pickup and move-in time for the weekend.
On Feb.27th, I received a reply. They informed me that the new apartment would not be ready for move-in until Apr.1st and offered a temporary unit in another building for one month. At 5 PM the same day, I received another call saying that even this temporary solution was no longer feasible because they couldn’t guarantee the new building would be ready by Apr.1st. Instead, they proposed a new solution, offering a one-bedroom, one-bathroom lease in another apartment, which was farther from the PATH station. And the rent was several hundred dollars higher than the studio I had originally signed for. I rejected this solution.
Until now, they refused to offer any compensation.
Highly unrecommended!

Lease was approved for an apartment in the new building. On the last moment they told us the building cannot be opened for leasing due to some safety concerns.
Left with no place to stay.

Got an email from leasing that we will get a refund for the application fee.
It’s been more than 3 months now haven’t got it.
Also they don’t pick up calls and don’t reply to your emails.

That’s very frustrating, if you can’t reach.Very unprofessional!!

We moved in about a month ago and are so far very pleased with the experience. Our room is spacious and airy, plus the building has a pretty chic design and I like the new lobby entrance system, I can use an app on my phone to manage access which is pretty convenient. Ron and Cara have been extremely helpful getting everything set up for us. Path is two minutes of a walk away so the access to Manhattan is convenient. One thing that still needs a bit of improvement is the main motor way entrance has some blocks on so we do have to enter through a path next to Bank of America to get to the parking lot but then again now that we are familiar with it the access is simple enough.

This apartment building is not ā€œluxuriousā€, so if that’s what you are looking for there are definitely better choices. But imho I moved in when my former 500 sf 1b was asking for a 3657 rent, now I’m paying a 2k+ price for a 750+- sqft 1b, So I’ll say it’s a good deal.

Pros:
Gym on site so no more paying for memberships.

Washer and dryer. Pretty powerful ones as well!
Extremely friendly staffs.

Cool community room, big terrence

Super Spacious room

4 minutes of a walk to path

Cons:
security system goes up and down

Traffic light broken( might not be the neighborhood’s problem but still an issue that needs to be addressed)

Needs more greens

If I could this place Zero stars I would. The professionalism is at an all time low. for starters I was given the incorrect address for a tour. I arrived at the incorrect address at 1055 am however could not find the building. I then proceeded to to call and was answered by Anne. She seems confused on where we are and how to provide directions. I finally found the correct address and let her know I am on my way she says ok… however I arrived to the correct address at 11:17 am and was told we have to reschedule due to US being late.

So of course I would have understood if this was told to us on the call before we drove to find the correct address. Why would u allow me to drive there you know I would be late and then reschedule me? Then I call the line and she is rude telling me no one gave me the wrong address.. so ma’am how did I end up with wrong address? Just unprofessional and disgusting. I will definitely not recommend or reschedule! Good day

I went with my significant other to check out the property to see if it would be viable. Location is amazing as it is right next to the path. You cannot hear any noise outside which is amazing. All apartments have a spacious living space along with a modern kitchen and in unit washer/dryer.

Also, Keanu is an exceptional property manager. He is professional, detail-oriented, and transparent. I highly recommend meeting with him if you are interested in the apartment building.

If I could give zero stars, I would - first let me start with the suspicious reviews that began to pop up after the residents left their honest reviews of this terribly managed property. I find it equally distasteful to mislead people.

As a resident that lived there for 15 months (literally could not stand to live there a minute longer) and someone who was heavily involved in the concerted efforts to appeal to the managers and property owners to improve the safety of the property - I would caution anyone from moving here. Yes, while the staff at the front desk are lovely, the apartments are spacious, and the property is 3 minutes away from the PATH - the benefits do not span much further. Weigh the benefits against the cons of having no building communications when a safety issue is occurring, no reliable payment systems for rent, having dorm sized ā€œsmartā€ TVs with no remote in the common areas, false renderings for the patio and retail spaces, a revolving door of managers, no security systems after 2+ years of being open, incomplete construction sites, unkept weeded area with badgers and other critters hanging out, no working key fobs, unsecured parking, blocked off roads, no street lights towards the back, unproductive random construction members living onsite, and homeless people sleeping on the property before moving in. The complaints fall on deaf ears and anyone giving this a 5 star rating is turning a blind eye to the multitude of issues. Either that or they are also a part of a very tightly knit scam going on behind the scenes. The cabinets were unfinished and gave me cuts on my arms and legs. The building shakes during the day as well. The grills were provided by the contractors (not even the building) and were taken away out of spite because no one cleaned the grills - spent multiple nice days without a grill available. The real kicker is the paint quality was so poor, even scotch tape would damage - so of course the property managers had a field day deducting from our security deposit. We’ve recently moved out and have not received a security deposit as well. To be honest, I don’t have hope that we will receive our money at all - that’s how hopeless this place is. At the end of the day it comes down to what is important to you - but if you want a luxury lifestyle - you’ll pay the luxury price without the full experience. Residents are leaving quickly which says a lot.

Update: It has been a year and a month since we’ve moved out. Still no security deposit. I’ve called and emailed countless times and we’ve even shown up in person 2x but were given lip service. We will likely need to take legal action to obtain this unfortunately.
