Shannon from Harper Property Management is professional, friendly, and extremely organized. All the issues (some minor / some major) I had were resolved efficiently and quickly.

When Harper first took over the last management company, I requested payment of rent via Credit Card (which was not their normal mode of rental payment). While Shannon was setting this up for me (probably only one in the complex to use CC for rent - yes I like to acquire points on my airline CC), she accommodated the gap month by accepting Venmo temporarily - since I travel a lot. The following month, CC payments were set up and I was very satisfied.

Whenever the management or owner had to enter my apartment (for 5 year inspection / fire alarm & safety checks), they gave ample notice via email and the on-site manager Maria sent me a text reminder either the day of or the night before. The inspections were quick and unobtrusive; they were in and out of the apartment within 1-2 minutes.

Having lived in various apartment complexes for over 25 years, IMHO, Shannon & HPM are exactly what small to medium sized apartment complexes need to run smoothly. They are extremely professional and organized, making living in their communities easy and "hands-free." I would recommend living in HPM-runned communities or ones managed by Shannon T. wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

Shannon helped me find a tenant when I was unable to find one on my own. She suggested changes to the pictures I was posting and rewrote my ad. She posted it and screened candidates. She arranged on-site visits and we were able to find an acceptable tenant.
