Got out on Saturday morning and course was in great shape especially considering the amount of rain they'd had earlier in the week. Well stocked clubhouse & friendly staff. We always play the course when we are in the area.

We enjoyed the convenience of cart rental, with cooler and complimentary ice.

We had some time before our tee time, and we're able to get some practice swings at the driving range. There is a practice putting green also, but we did not have time to stop there.

The course was magnificent and incredibly challenging and fun. There were lots of hills, the cart path was clear, and the other golfers were friendly.

There is a confusing split at the 7th hole, but thanks to a couple of other golfers, we found our way.

Greens are horrible. Half of the greens have no grass, and are bumpy with bare spots. Fairways are thin with bare spots of dirt. And to top that off, the prices were just increased. No way this course is worth $75, even with good greens, it’s not worth $75 bucks. To play 9 it was $50 bucks.

$50 is about all this course is worth for 18 holes with good greens. I will not be back including the senior scrambles. It’s a funky golf course with about 6 holes of golfy golf. Guntersville State park is a better course and it’s reasonably priced.

I have played this course 2x over the past few weeks. Staff is very warm, clubhouse/pro shop is well stocked. Prices are very reasonable, the course is not just BEAUTIFUL but very well maintained. Carts all seem new and in great shape. I haven’t played anywhere else since moving to the area but like they say, when you find your car keys, do you keep looking for them? Can’t wait until the early fall when the humidity breaks! See you again soon
