Our stay was quite nice! Thank you so much for supplying all of the essentials for everyday living. The place was beautifully decorated and the beds were quite comfortable. Stayed here for a bachelorette party. Found the listing on Airbnb and saw a 5 star review for the same time of trip (11 girls for a long weekend) closer to the date i started seeing bad reviews on both Airbnb and VRBO. It’s a nice play to stay with the perfect location but for the price there are some things that could be improved.

Grand welcome was very helpful when i had any questions but had a few errors in texts/communications with myself and the resort. There was some confusion on parking (the listing claimed 2 valet spots and i was sent a confirmation that said 1 valet spot) and there was some confusion with check in/out times (the resort was not aware of the times) all which were not a huge deal but a little annoying.

The main reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cleanliness of the unit. The floors were clearly not mopped (maybe swiffer moped, but not clean) there was also a broom but no dustpan or mop in the unit. I didn’t reach out to ask for one because i didn’t think about it but everyone just made sure to wear sandals/house shoes inside the entire time. The glass sliders also had fingerprints all over them and we found misc trash under the beds (candy wrappers, tags, etc.)

LYFE resort had some major flaws as well but that does not have anything to do with grand welcome. Just an FYI

1. The valet is very slow and disorganized - they lost our keys, but ended up finding them about 10 min later. I had also called 2 weeks prior to ask about additional overnight parking and they claimed it would be $35/ night for additional parking if they had room. During the stay i went to ask if they had room for 2 cars for 2 nights and they confirmed they did but it would be $90 per car per night. We ended up using a parking garage accords form the diplomat for $50 per car/night instead.

2. The pool closes at 7:30 pm which really sucks. People also go down and claim all of the pool cabanas very early!!

3. They gave us 4 beach chairs total (w 2 umbrellas) and would not allow us to use any extra chairs at all (even though there was a stack of approx 50 chairs right behind us not being used) and we had 8 people.

I rented 130 Pacific, unit B in Oceanside for three weeks while my home is undergoing repairs. When we arrived, I told the property manager it smelled musty and my son was starting to cough. I was told to open the windows. My son’s cough got worse. On the fourth day, I went up to the top landing and when I stepped down, my foot was met with freezing cold water. That’s when I saw the black on the baseboards and wall. Mold. I touched the wall and door. Both were damp. It was late. I informed property manager immediately and began to pack. I left the next next morning and checked into a hotel. Despite VRBO telling them this is a health and safety issue that requires them to fully refund me, they refuse to do so.

In addition to the mold, the glasses were filled with sand that we didn’t notice until after drinking. Check in information was not sent in advance. There’s no garage door opener provided and no clear information on where to park. The garage has a big divider. The space between in it and a wall with a no parking sign is very small. Street is metered parking.

There’s not a lot of room to settle in and unpack your belongings. There’s no basket to carry laundry up and down. The bathroom with the bigger shower doesn’t have any room to put toiletries. It’s not functional. Curtains and furniture were caked in dust and cobwebs.

Do not rent from this company if wood is under the carpet, it’s rotting. I’m not sure what it will take for these people to do the right thing.

We stayed at one of the properties at Tahoe Woods Villa for a ski weekend. The house was absolutely amazing! There were 9 of us and the house had plenty of room. The house was immaculate with more than enough amenities, house supplies and toiletries. The house was in the center of everything you want to do. We were a short walking distance to the gondolas for the Heavenly ski resort, restaurants, and casinos. We never had to drive anywhere. The Grand Welcome Team were available 24/7 and always very kind, helpful and responded so quickly to our text and emails. The check in instructions were extremely thorough and detailed with so much helpful information and even a helpful winter packing list. We had the best time at South Tahoe and had our best skiing experience ever at Heavenly. We will definitely come again and stay in the exact house from Grand Welcome. Unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by the horrific service received by the Grand Welcome staff. We stayed at a location that had several items that needed maintenance attention including one very significant safety concern. The bathroom tub would not drain for hours causing the tub to not be able to be utilized for bathing during the stay. The laminate flooring had separated in 2 places in the main walking area of the master bedroom 5-6 inches apart leaving a huge gap in-between boards. This causing a trip hazard which myself and my son got our feet caught in and in fact tripped / fell. Several other minor items such as the fridge leaking water all over the kitchen floor, light switches not working, the handle from the dryer falling off, the toaster not working, etc.. were also items that were brought to their attention. The bathroom being the most inconvenient as my elderly mother was unable to utilize the bathtub to shower and we had to make other arrangements as she could not climb the stairs to the 2nd floor where the other showers were at. I reported the items to the representative and was assured that that these items would be addressed for the next guests. After several messages back and forth I requested a small partial refund (approx10%). Over one month later and 8 follow-ups (from myself) later I was told that there would be nothing offered or credited towards the breach of contract and the property not being as advertised. VERY disappointing to say the least. Clearly this company is not interested in customer service. There should be no reason a customer should not be followed up with, nor a resolution offered - especially when there are safety matters involved.

We had a fabulous stay. Kitchen appliances are updated and worked and the spice cabinet was well stocked. Both bathrooms were updated (based on previous reviews) and fully operational. The fireplace worked well and the large windows were nice. The convenience to the ski lift is Amazing! Convenient covered parking was appreciated and the large hot tub and hot pool felt great after a day on the slopes. Responsive customer service from Grand Welcome and local hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this exquisite accommodation. Not only is it beautifully appointed and luxuriously comfortable, but includes high end appliances and is well stocked with service-ware to accommodate memorable family gatherings. The rooftop deck with fireplace and views in every direction is the icing on the cake! The location was central to everything needed to enjoy Santa Barbara... a very short walk to the waterfront and also to the vibrant funk zone. Will definitely be recommending to all family and friends!

Lovely home with great views and hot tub! Everything worked perfectly and the home was well maintained and furnished. We especially loved the hot tub after skiing. Would be worried about getting to the house if there was a lot of snow on the road because it is a long, steep drive to get there but you are rewarded with fantastic views of the lake and mountains once you do. Will definitely rent again. Thank you!
