Visited DMV to renew collector plates and register a used vehicle purchase. No lines, the gentleman I dealt with was polite and knowledgeable. He was also very precise. All fees and charges were explained, including a processing fee for a credit card. This building also contains additional county offices. All seemed well maintained. I have primarily been involved with the DMV. Customer service varies depending on the clerk. I have had experiences from rude, unprofessional to very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Seems my last few experiences were the latter. Be aware that driver's license services are extremely limited. Vehicle title and registration services are full service. There is a fee to use a credit card. If the vehicle is from out of state, a VIN verification is required. The can be done free of charge at the Sheriff's Office next door. The facility also has property tax and other administrative offices

Motor Vehicle and Recording Department closed from 12:00-1:00 for lunch and only open from 830 to 400.
