Horrible, unprofessional, choosing sides, only handling/reporting issues from specific tenants they've known for 20+ years, even though those tenants are harassing new tenants. Flat out ignoring legitimate harassment reports, and threatening to fine disabled tenant who uses service animal to support his life. Low life, trashy so called management company . Losers, who wouldn't get hired anywhere else, work there. Steer clear of these idiots, they don't do their job and are unbelievably lazy. Never answer their phone during 10am-5pm pretty regular hours, and say they will follow up in email but will never get back with a response

This company is absolute trash. Never returns calls or emails. Hasn't filed taxes for properties they manage in years. Their staff is garbage, and their families should be embarrassed to be related to them. They only respond to positive reviews here. Must be fake or paid for.
They say don't believe everything online, that goes for their five star reviews too. Gold coast management should not be allowed to manage properties with how negligent they are, period. Mike Marsh should become a Wal Mart greeter. He's useless.

This is warning to home buyers: DO NOT BUY a property if it is managed by Gold Coast. I made the mistake of living in Oak Creek Canyon for 4 years. During that time, I left a voicemail for Mike Marsh 3-4 times. Not once did I get a call back. You will see other reviews confirming this. There is only one thing Gold Coast is responsive at and that is sending warning or fine letters on behalf of HOA boards with nothing better to do. Actually, Gold Coast also puts on a good show at association meetings. It's all an act -- they have obviously put together a business strategy of a nice show at meetings (and probably to board members generally) and then zero customer service to residents. Vote with your dollars -- tell home sellers you aren't buying a house in an association with this terrible company behind it.

Gold Coast Property Managment is by far the worst management company I have ever had to deal with. Communication is terrible. Mike Marsh is the property manager for our complex in Simi Valley trying to address an issue with him is nearly impossible. The result of this unprofessional lack of concern or attentiveness is lights being out in our complex constantly and for up to 6 months at a time. Currently our spa has been out of order for over 5 months. The landscaping and how it is maintained is embarrassing to say the least by gardners who don't know what they are doing. My experience in trying to convey issues about our complex with Mike Marsh has been aggrivating and frustrating. On average it takes sending 5 of the same emails to Mike over a span of 2 months to get a response and that includes copying other staff at Gold Coast Property Management on the email. Most recently I have left multiple voicemails with both Mike Marsh and his supervisor/dad Lance Marsh who happens to be the owner trying to get the lights in our alleys addressed since this is a major safety hazard. I have not received a call back to date. I strongly encourage anyone shopping around for a managment company to stay far far away from Gold Coast Property Management. Unless you want your property value to decline. The experience will be nothing but aggrivating. I am looking to circlculate a petition around our own complex to pressure the HOA to fire Gold Coast as our property managers. Gold Coast Property Management overall is an extremely poorly managed company. I am writing this review after several years of trying to work with Gold Coast Property Managment to fix issues that have gone unaddressed for years. In addition I am currently corresponding with Ventura County Health and Public Safety due to lights being out in the alleys for months posing a serious safety hazard to the residents. A gas leak in the spa area that has been going on for 7 months, and lastly dog waste bags littering the pool area, and when the wind picks up literally blowing into the pool. Both Lance Marsh and Mike Marsh have been unresponsive, and unattentive to all of this ignoring emails and phone calls. Do not hire Gold Coast Property Managment. It will be nothing but frustration, excuses, and blaming someone else as to why things are broken or don't get fixed or repaired for 6 plus months. That is if they even ever bother to respond to your concerns.

Taylor DeLaRosa is great. I have had issues with my unit and she is always there for us. Overall Gold Coast has been our HOA management company for years. They get the job done.

Do they respond within 24 hrs ? Not always because they are swamped. That's ok with me.

Gold Coast is a unprofessional company to say the least. They do not respond to emails, phone calls. They are down right rude when you finally do get a hold of them. The only thing they are quick to do is to take your money. Fortunately, there are lawyers to help in these matters. I will be going through an attorney for any further corespondence. I would strongly suggest that anyone looking to buy property that is managed by Gold Coast to NOT buy!! There should be a negative star as they do not deserve a one star rating.

I’ve been part of my HOA for 11yrs. I have had Mike respond to me once in all that time. Usually I just give up on whatever question/concern I have. My wife and I are in the process of trying to get something taken care of and we can’t get ahold of ANYONE at Gold Coast. There main phone goes directly to voicemail every time we call, and Mike’s phone rings a few times, but always goes to voicemail. We have left 3 messages for him with zero response. Honestly, it’s what we’ve come to expect at this point. It’s nothing new or surprising, but I really don’t understand their business model. Our HOA fees are pretty low compared to others in the area, so maybe that’s their thing…”pay us less than others, and we promise to do nothing for you?”
I don’t really know why I’m bothering writing this review…nothing will change. I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to give them 1 star. Maybe this can just be a warning if any HOAs are looking for a management company. Avoid Gold Coast.
