I’m writing a review on the property Manager name Alex or Arron. 12-10-2024. My son’s Application was denied for some unknown reasons. Ok business is business but it’s how unprofessional he was about it. I called and spoke with Mr Alex and I have to agree his TONE as if he was annoyed . I planned on reaching out to the owner of the Apartment complex but first I wanted to write a review. I’m a real estate agent in Virginia and I promise you this is not the TYPE of person you want representing your company, nor handle your property unless he’s part of your family. VERY RUDE /HIS DELIVERANCE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. You’re hired to manage and run the property for the owner. ROBIN

As a former resident who lived there for 6 years I would like to say the last 2 years were under new management and they were pretty great. Communication was great, great updates in the community, on-site workers are even happier and insures with apartment was remedied quickly. Also didn’t have issues with my security deposit and was mailed to me within 2 days.

I have been living at Gardens at Cologne for the past 10-12 years. I know it's over 10 years! The maintenance crew is very nice and can fix ANYTHING! They come back in a day or two to be sure there are no problems! I've had very few maintenance issues but they come the same day I call and it's fixed in a very short time! The new management are VERY NICE and the rent I pay is worth it! Worry Free!!! I have NEVER had a bad Iexperience with anyone at the office when I need some type of maintenance! Whatever issues I have going on are fixed quickly ,properly and correctly and that means a lot!!! I have also made some AWESOME friends!!! I plan on being here for the next 10-12 years!!!!!

Don’t even fill out the application, you’ll just be throwing your money right out the window. We inquired at this complex when moving, had to reach out to them to check the application status after two weeks, judt to be told to fill out another application, another $60, had to keep calling, or leaving messages, we would get a call back around 11-12pm in random nights just for Simon, our “leasing agent” to tell us he’d reach out tomorrow, every time, which never happened. We started looking at other options in the area, and moved in to somewhere that got back to us within a couple hours. Don’t waste your time or money

Know people who live there and have bad experience. I myself was still trying to get an apartment here due to lifestyle changes. Set an appointment for a tour. My girlfriend and myself took off of work early to make this appointment just for us to get there 10 minutes early and it was closed. I called Simon and didn't receive an answer. Texted him and was responded with what I consider nonsense. I was told " i tried to call you earlier, i had to go to another property". I expressed i received no calls or voicemail. Won't even bother with management like that for the property prices.

The Old management that ran this complex was the absolute worst. Tenants was ignored, maintenance took weeks if at all but they have since sold and new management has moved in. I can tell you from personal experience they are working to make things a lot better. They've already moved to Implement small things so far like cameras and such but, when I tell you i had a problem with 1 thing and contacted them AFTER hrs I got a call within the hr, and we handle not only my problem but 3-4 other problems I brought to his attention. Great Manger Simon. I'm pleased after living there for 3 + years the placed actually talen care off!

We have been here since last March. Yes management has got changed and some improvement you can see around. Dumpsters area looks clean and cycle bins. After couple warnings people smoking weeds outside of the property by the bus stop they hanging there. No big fights or ambush but neighbors you should aware of.. couple months ago our amazon delivery package easily stolen front of the door . It was very valuable we went to police they open a file but nothing happened! Property cameras surveillance only parking lots. But breeze ways and corridors not safe for delivery. You should sit at home and wait for it. Management allows 2 dogs in unit which dogs makes a lot of noises especially if they are not same breeding. Our rent increased %5 of our rent nearly $1750 after March 2023. This property has no amenities be aware of if you compare others around. But location is good 👍. Summertimes you can see trash in your back patio even dog pops can be thrown wrapped in a paper towel from 2.level neighbor . We had many issues when we move in last year. You can chose your apartment but can not chose your neighbor.!
