Gabe was awesome to work with throughout the whole experience of looking for and purchasing a home. Immediately after meeting him, Gabe jumped into action and was extremely informative for a first time homebuyer. He walked through the key aspects of looking for a house, financing a house, and the overall preparation needed before you even find the house you want.

In terms of the home search, Gabe was awesome across the board. He set up time early with my fiancé & I to walk through what we are looking for and the details that were key for each of us. He consolidated this together and immediately curated a list of houses that had a mix of each details that were key to us. He was able to identify what was key to us personally. So working with Gabe was not only educational & practical because he knew all the key must haves for buying a house, but it was also highly personal and connected to what we were looking for in a home.

The house we ended up buying was one he knew immediately would match what we wanted. And he knew the urgency of seeing the house we wanted rapidly. There were several other highly interested folks so he rapidly arranged a tour before the open house date so we could decide rapidly. When he knew we wanted it, we immediately reviewed disclosures and within hours were within contract. Gabe helped make the escrow process as smooth as possible and we were able to close in 17 days thanks to his guidance and recommendations. From the time we began our search to when we closed, it was under 2 months.

Without Gabe's quick actions and knowing the type of house we'd want, I don't think we would have gotten it. So I would 100% recommend working with Gabe when looking for a Marin home. He is personable and professional and will make any home search and purchasing an enjoyable and memorable experience.

This review is way overdue. We are in the midst of our first holiday season in our new home and wanted to share our positive experiences with Gabe that got us here in the first place.

We first spoke with Gabe in April of 2023 when we were paired with him via Zillow. We were early in our search, but Gabe gave us a high level understanding of the real estate dynamic in Marin, as well as finding out what we were looking for and what our motivations were. Right off the bat, my wife and I appreciated his relaxed, low pressure and easy going approach. There is a lot to cover when looking to buy a new home and Gabe broke it down in an easy to follow, step by step manner. After a few back and forths, that was largely it for a few months as we had a lot of life items that kept us from putting the time and effort into looking for a new place. However, once things settled and we were finally ready to give it our all, Gabe hit the ground running to make things easy for us.

In addition to being flexible with our search criteria, Gabe often went above and beyond to find properties that were close to what we were looking for that were just outside our exact specifics. He made himself available for countless open houses throughout the whole process and give his honest feedback on things like commute time, schools, fire hazards and insurance as well as the overall feeling of the towns we looked at. Being from Marin, Gabe shared so many small nuggets of information, like special restaurants, grocery stores, hikes and traffic patterns that he could all speak personally to.

When we finally found right house and were ready to place our bid, he followed up tirelessly on a few loose ends from the selling side and made sure we were clear on all signed documents, contingencies, and each step of the process. He also took on so much behind-the-scenes negotiating and diplomacy. For one example, the seller had a looming item to be addressed with some fire inspection details. From our perspective, Gabe "took care of it", but in reality, it was several calls, visits and personal dealings he undertook to make it as hands off for us as possible. In the midst of closing a deal for a house, it made an enormous difference to us. He even made our first month easier than it would have been by preemptively collecting contact information for gardeners/landscapers, utility companies, electricians and technicians for the installed appliances. This was completely unexpected and really made things simple for me and my wife when the need arose in the first few weeks of living here.

Now, as we're decorating our new home, we wanted to take the time to say thank you to Gabe and highly recommend working with him if you're looking for a new home in Marin. His blend of steadfastness, local knowledge and easy going approach really made one of the biggest decisions in our life as easy as possible!
