They are a horrible agency to rent from and I would be wary to say the least The vacation home we rented had an array of issues ranging from significant mold to an inoperable dishwasher. There were also several safety concerns around the house, including several electrical outlets that did not have covers. What was most troubling however, was the fact that we were without running water on several occasions throughout our week stay. We could not shower, flush toilets, wash hands, do the laundry, wash the dishes, cook, or perform a number of other vital things that are impacted by waiter failure. Not to mention, there were some elderly guests in our party who had to forgo medical-related care that required water. I was ultimately informed by our rental agent that the homeowner has a smart meter and was cutting the supply off after a certain amount of usage. Bear in mind, there were only 8 of us staying in a house that could accommodate up to 15 guests, and we weren’t all showering consecutively. After checking our lease, there was nothing outlined about the water restrictions, which ought to have been disclosed from the get-go. Bottom line is the G. Anderson Agency breached the contract by failing to maintain & remain in compliance with basic living & safety standards—the unit was not fit for residential purposes throughout the entire term of our lease. And under New Jersey law, withholding amenities is a form of "landlord harassment." The G. Anderson Agency had complete awareness and control of the situation; we were at their mercy. After initially working with John May—who justified everything by saying it was a “"value property”— my concerns were escalated to Matt Kulinski, the managing broker of the agency. Although he acknowledged the issues we were experiencing, there was no accountability taken or any effort to fulfill their duties as outlined in the lease. Instead, we were instructed to take the matter to small claims court. It was a very bad experience that should have had an entirely different outcome; but what can you expect from unscrupulous real estate agents!

Always the best of service. The homes we have rented have always been clean and stocked with cooking utensils etc. The G Anderson agency has always been there for any questions or issues. I highly recommend this company

The system needs to update its arrival policy. It’s 2024, get electronic entry to rentals! Of two keys one did not fit door and found a dirty rag in the middle of one of the beds. Not impressed- would not recommend

Barbara Farrington is great! She’s very helpful with any questions or concerns we have and always replies promptly to texts or calls. Our family has been renting on LBI with Barbara and G.Anderson Agency for 4 years now and have never had even a hiccup with our rental experience with them! Highly recommended!

Have rented from G. Anderson for years. Our latest experience has been horrible. Trying to get our listing agent David to call us back is nearly impossible. Multiple times prior to arriving we had to escalate to the broker to just get simple questions answered like is the master on the first floor. We have had a plumbing problem in the house we rented with no help from our agent. Once they get your rental money, good luck hearing from them again!
