Client Feedback and Service Quality

Based on publicly available information, Fusion Property Management has garnered 21 reviews on Google My Business, offering a valuable insight into the experiences of their clients. The average opinion is 3.1/5, suggesting a mixed reception regarding their services. While some clients have reported positive experiences, particularly regarding responsiveness and professionalism, others have expressed concerns about maintenance responsiveness and the overall upkeep of properties.

Several reviews highlight the legacy of the company, stemming from the McFarland family. Initial feedback focuses on the dedication and respectful approach of Max McFarland, who served as a landlord for 16 years, establishing a reputation for ease and reliability. His successor, Tonya, continued this tradition, taking over not only the apartments but also her parents’ properties, indicating a strong commitment to the company’s values and a consistent level of service.

However, a recurring theme in some reviews touches upon the lack of recent updates to the properties under their management. Specifically, one client mentioned that their apartment had not been updated in over 16 years, including carpets, and that improvements were minimal when they did occur. The fact that the same unit was rented out twice since the client's occupancy suggests a potential pattern of delayed maintenance and a reluctance to invest in property improvements. This indicates a possible area for improvement and a need for greater investment in property upgrades.

Key Features and Services Offered

  • Property Management: Tenant screening, rent collection, lease administration, property maintenance coordination, and financial reporting.
  • HOA Management: Budgeting, rule enforcement, meeting facilitation, common area maintenance, and financial oversight.
  • Resident Support: Addressing tenant inquiries and concerns, resolving maintenance issues, and providing a positive living experience.
  • Communication: Regular communication with property owners and residents, providing transparent updates on property management activities.

Despite the mixed feedback, Fusion Property Management demonstrates a foundational commitment to customer service, as evidenced by the longevity of the McFarland family’s involvement. The company’s dedication to accessibility, as shown by the wheelchair-accessible parking, further underscores their focus on inclusivity and client comfort. Moving forward, addressing the concerns raised in client reviews regarding property upkeep and maintenance responsiveness would significantly enhance the overall client experience and improve the average opinion score.

Fusion is a terrible management company. As the maintenance manager for another property management company, I know what services a reputable management company provide. Fusion manages our HOA. In the past 7 years, we have never had our irrigation turned on before May. There is always something preventing it despite every other neighborhood in the area having water on. They refused to look into a different irrigation service provider. They send out $100 fines without a warning first for bylaw Violations. We have a common area in which half the grass died 3 years ago. We voted to have sod laid but against the wishes of the neighborhood, Fusion approved seeding. So the landscapers spread seed in 30mph winds which increased to 50mph. There was no seed left after 4 hours. As of today, 4/30/21, 3.25 years later, WE STILL DONT HAVE GRASS AND NO PLAN TO GET. they don't return correspondence and when they do, it's full of rhetoric and excuses. But they sure as heck expect their dues paid on time. $325/year to pay for fusion and water that I have to supplement with domestic water. If I hadn't spent over a year building my house with blood, sweat and tears, I'd move away In a heartbeat based solely on the HOA and management company.

5/2/22 I recently contacted this company so I could look at a Townhome in River Trails Subdivision. I was extremely disappointed in their professionalism. They never seem to be in the office or answer their phone or call anyone back. That was a red flag for me. I think most of the management companies in Grand Junction seem to be about the same however. They right now have a captive audience because people are wanting to relocate and with a shortage of inventory they could care less if they have to be professional. They know they have some one else waiting in the wings. Also, the picture of the townhome has not been updated since it was built and now there are other townhomes crammed in next to it. Think twice before doing business here.

This property management company does not take care of the communities it is paid for. I live in one of the properties that they manage and it's awful. Tonya McFarland has run Coronado Village into the ground! there are fences that have huge sections missing as well as graffiti all over it and it's been that way for over 2 years! the grass and trees are dead or dying because the refused to fix the irrigation system for 2 years! there are units that have boxes of trash on their front and back porches. They allow tenants to park wherever they want. Abandoned vehicles are left all over the property and they are never towed even though Tonya McFarland has been sent pictures and emails about them. she stated and I quote, " every time we put a notice on the cars they move them" end quote. I have date stamped pictures of these vehicles showing they haven't been moved in over a month. I just had to deal with a drug bust which also included an apartment full of stolen property. I have complained several times about this property as well as sent pictures showing the mess! Tonya McFarland just gives excuse after excuse why nothing is being done about it. I would never move into another one of their properties again nor would I allow anyone I know to either.

I am in a HOA managed by this company. I've been fined 3xs for my car in my drive way. It is registered and insured. I am not working on it. It's been sitting for years and every year I register it and insure it. I have to fight to get the fine taken off.ive called to speak to a manage there and the lady that said she owned it hung up on me and said I have to prove that the tires hold air. I asked to just look at the pictures she said she had and it'll show that. She said that isn't her job. I have to prove it or pay the fine. Very rude and unprofessional.
