Don't rent from this agency without seeing the property in person. The pictures don't show the filthy mold and how old and run down the beds and bedspreads are; lack of clean cookware; dirty bathrooms, etc. The odor of mold was overwhelming. There was water leaking from the washer & had to be replaced along with the dryer. The 'cleaners' apparently never went to this property. A beachfront property should have been an enjoyable vacation. Instead we had to deal with issue after issue. Not a fan....

Do not rent from these crooks! We rented July 4th week 2024 and the property was not as advertised. The dishwasher didn’t work, the outdoor shower was in disrepair and didn’t work for half the time we were there, the main bedroom was advertised as having a queen bed but it was a full, the toilet paper holder was off the wall, and very few if any of the windows locked. Also when we arrived the doors to the property were unlocked and open. This was all made WAY worse be the rude behavior of the 2 realtors I dealt with, Andrew and Michelle Robb. Michelle specifically was unkind, condescending, and no where near helpful. Andrew told me I should not complain because he recently had other renters in a different who didn’t complain when things were not in working order. Don’t give your money to these people.

A special above & beyond shoutout to their agent, Andrew R., who is extremely responsive and incredibly helpful. His support alone makes our partnership successful! Other agencies (I won’t name) have not provided the same level of service. We are so grateful!

We rented a home on Brighton Ave for one week spending $4000. Upon arrival to the home we were so disappointed at how unclean and rundown it was... The ice maker didn't work, the garbage disposal didn't work, the dishwasher was loud and had broken racks (it was an RCA so I can't even imagine how old it could be I didn't even know that RCA made dishwashers) The kitchen did not have basic things like bowls and colander etc things that you would need for a week at the shore. The sliding door off to the deck the screen door kept falling off. The closet doors in the bedrooms were broken. The pillows and the blankets were very dirty looking... and there were so many other issues with the home... We were so disappointed to spend $4000 to rent a home in this condition.

As I saw multiple one star reviews for Fox Real Estate and several mentions of lack of customer service and rudeness by agents, I felt compelled to share our story as well. We rented with Michelle Robb recently and requested a re-rent of the property. I received no reply or communication from her but happened to notice that there was a "rented" sign on the week we requested. When I called, she indicated she had put a hold on the week for us and would get back to us. When I didn't hear back for three weeks or longer, I once again checked the web and saw the hold had been removed. When I emailed Michelle to inquire into the status, she said the owner said you cannot re-rent because you had a dog and there was dog hair all over the house. We never had a dog in the house. We have video proof of our dog at home the week we rented. We cleaned the house before we left. There was no dog hair left behind by us. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the clean house before I left. If you are renting from Fox, I would highly recommend you take pictures as they make up stories about the condition of the house when you leave. We were outraged at being accused of something we did not do. Michelle once again (given previous similar reviews of customer's experiences with her) was unprofessional and condescending. I previously rented through Berger and will certainly return to them. My recommendation -- do not use Fox Realty or Michelle Robb unless you prefer rude, unprofessional treatment and being accused of things you did not do. Go with Berger where you will be treated with respect and appropriate customer service.

We have been renting with Renee Ramos for 8 seasons and have always been pleased with her professional customer service. This year, we had an emergency situation. We called Renee after hours on a Saturday evening. Renee and her work associate Becky resolved the issue. My husband and I were very grateful. Renee is certainly an asset to Fox Real Estate in Ocean City, NJ.

My husband and I, along with my brother and his family, recently rented 713 East 7th St. in Ocean City, NJ. The house is beautiful, and the location was fantastic. However, we went out one day and someone in our group put the deadbolt on, and then left through the garage. My brother and my husband each had a key. Unfortunately, we were never told that the house keys do not work on the deadbolt lock. When we returned to the house that evening, we were stuck outside for about two hours with a 5 & an 8 year old waiting for a locksmith. When I called our agent, Michelle Robb, the next day to explain what happened and request reimbursement for the $150 locksmith fee, she was condescending, unprofessional and literally laughed at me. When I asked why they don’t let renters know that the keys do not work on the deadbolt, she replied by rudely and ignorantly stating that they can’t tell the renters everything. Really?!? I think that might be something you may want to share. We were very disappointed and taken aback by Michelle Robb’s rudeness and extreme lack of customer service.

Nearing our 1st completed season renting w/ FOX and we've been completely satisfied! Their agents have been very attentive and responsive to every question of ours and our renters. WE'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
