Movie ranch, made famous by House of 1000 corpses, Fall, Palm Springs and many more. Don't walk on the property, it is an active filmlocation and there is a guard.

You only can take pictures from the road but is nice to visit locations where the movies were film and not the stage made .

The Four Aces is a professional film set movie location in the Mojave Desert located east of Palmdale near Lake Los Angeles. This film rental set has a classic Route 66 style diner, gas station, and a 1950′s motel. The Four Aces is a shooting location with three distinct 1950’s-era sets: a diner, a gas station, and a motel. This place looks so real that it is no wonder that many people have stopped here for gas, food, and/or lodging. At the same time, many tourists may not wander by – the Four Aces is well removed from the main roads and completely cut off from any other visible buildings. The 1950s motel set evokes a "loney, middle of nowhere" feeling. The L-shaped layout features a breezeway with courtyard, two fully dressed motel room sets, and a manager's reception office. The vintage rooftop neon sign is also functional. All sets can be compositionally isolated from each other. This set has been used in movies such as Identity, Torque and House of 1000 corpses.

It was very exciting to shoot and work here, everything is a set, the desert, the trees, the people. Amazing place in a middle of nowhere. Bring some water, it's hot and windy

Visited this place whilst on a road trip with my family. It was red hot🥵🥵. Seen this place and other sets in the close vicinity on TV shows and music videos. Brilliant place… in fact just watching this place being used again in “The Rookie”. However you can’t go in. The place is roped off. In fact there were film crews there when we parked up.

A world famous film location in the middle of nowhere. Though you can't come on site you can take good photos. The photoshoot actor Vince Vaughn did for British GQ was shot here and was on the cover and seen around the world.
