BEWARE. I bought a business in this building and quickly realized that the landlord Katherine was trying to do a massive rent hike almost immediately, this finalized my decision to leave. When the lease came to an end I let her know I decided to leave already and she still hiked the rent for a few weeks without proper legal notice to do so or a signed lease.

I did not get a good feeling about it all moving in, I like to have landlords who actually care about more than what they can get out of you.

Secondly when we left we requested a walk through with enough time to repair or remedy any items that might call for a deduction from our deposit. She never did the walk through and sent us a BOGUS bill for for almost an $800 deduction from our deposit, things like $95 for a sticky spot on the floor and a couple stickers on shelves in cabinets. Also for $260 in light bulbs which we just replaced every single one before we left! The light bulbs were flat out theft. First of all we took over the space and the condition of the space was not turned over to us in pristine condition it was in the condition it was in before we arrived. I am furious I am a landlord of commercial and residential real estate I would never operate so far outside of the law and integrity with my tenants. The fact that this is wasting so much of my time needlessly pointing out the law is unacceptable.

Beware. Did not follow proper rental rules when I moved out (final walkthrough inspection) and tried to take away much of my security deposit for ridiculous reasons such as dust and a burned out light bulb that never worked.. Katherine is dishonest and hard to reach. Will almost always not answer.
