First Team Rossmoor has been a deeply disappointing and negative experience, especially for anyone who values diversity, equity, and mutual respect.

This office is not a welcoming environment for younger, diverse professionals. I faced blatant discrimination, with gatekeeping practices that seemed designed to suppress younger agents and those from different backgrounds.

Instead of fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, it’s as if the culture is set up to beat down anyone who doesn’t fit into the established mold, particularly if you're young, ambitious, or of a different race or ethnicity.

Under Fred Nassab’s management, the office feels like a fiefdom, where his word is law, and there’s little room for fresh perspectives or creative approaches. Senior agents act as gatekeepers and frequently play petty political games to keep newer, more diverse agents from advancing. It’s a toxic environment where agents are often pitted against each other, and collaboration takes a backseat to cliques and favoritism.

If you’re seeking an office where you’ll be respected for your skills, regardless of age or race, First Team Rossmoor isn’t it. I’d advise anyone looking for a truly inclusive and supportive brokerage to look elsewhere.

I had a concerning experience with this realtor. Previously I was pressured to write a good review which I took down after I have done some research and realized mine was not a typical experience of a realtor. He pressured me to hire his handyman for the inspection because he worked with that handyman for 10 years. His handyman barely covered anything. I had to spend almost 1/6 of house price to make the house livable due to countless maintenance issues found. I still don’t know why escrow was only 15 days instead of longer period. I didn’t have enough time to go through important details which cost a lot of money later. I raised questions about the conditions of appliances and he conveniently brushed them off; “ just Google it” “ there should a manual somewhere” There wasn’t. And he also referred me to a Korean financial advisor whom he also worked with for 10 years. She was so shady and lacked credentials I decided not to work with her. He also referred me to a Korean painter who “only takes cash upfront” for a “ huge discount” which I also had to pass. The Korean “licensed” electrician he recommended totally refused to check out my issues because he was “busy”. I had to deal with countless maintenance problems by myself with the home warranty the previous owner provided. The home warranty didn’t fix anything while collecting $75 service call fee diligently. When I raised a question about home warranty, he brushed it off. If I have known I would spend huge amount of money to make the house habitable for basic human being, I wouldn’t have purchased. The last thing that shows his lack of professionalism is the fact that he requested to have a dinner with me after closing which I found creepy. Also concerned is his limited English. I think he did pass his American license but he reminds me of a monolingual Korean senior who passed US citizenship test out of desperation for government benefits.
