Whoever is covering Society Hill 2 in Galloway is doing an absolutely terrible job. Our requests date back months. Homeowners with active leaks above their unit are being ignored. Not even an update on their maintenance request. MONTHS

I live in The Village townhouse community in Lawrenceville NJ. Beth Barnett is our property manager.
I’m confident to say on behalf of the community residents and of course myself , that Beth has been a stellar manager. She hasn’t been managing this property for long , but she acclimated herself quickly and got to work!
She’s committed & she’s available. She cares about our community and residents in a very personal way and

SUMMARY: I own several condo units that I rent out at Princeton Landing, which FirstService company provides property management services. If you have a choice, avoid them.
DETAILS: I want to share my experience with the FS staff, which has had multiple turnovers in a short amount of time. First, a staff member reached out to let me know about a leak he claimed was coming from a unit I own. Soon the GM joined the email string and the tone he soon took in his emails was accusatory and threatening. I own a number of condo units across New Jersey and when there are leaks, a property manager typically shares the contact information and lets the owners resolve it. In this case, he continually emailed me and his staff continually called my tenant. My tenant reached out to me frustrated because of the volume of calls she was receiving. My tenant finally was able to get the neighboring owner's contact information herself so I could contact them directly and provide that info to the plumber I called to resolve the issue. Second, there is an issue related to damages to my unit from a construction company that I understand from the previous FS-employed GM was the company hired to do facade repairs at the complex. I had continuing complaints from my tenants about the company's work, which included everything from nail pops on my interior walls to workers leering through the window at the underaged daughter of a tenant to workers leaving balconies exposed without barriers, a life safety issue. When I brought these issues up to the previous GM, he did nothing, so I had to reach out to the Building Inspector who was appalled (I spoke to him by phone twice and he was able to resolve the life safety issue right away). Recently, I asked the new GM to intervene for me to recover my out of pocket costs with the repairs of the damage the contractor caused. From the beginning, he dismissed it as something between me and the contractor and came up with excuse after excuse as to why I should deal with it. This is not what I expect from a management company at any property I own.

I could not be more pleased with the responsiveness of First Service Residential. They manage the condo complex where my beach home is located. Last week I headed to the shore and forgot my keys. I had loaned my car to my son and the key FOB for entry to the building and my unit key were attached to my car keys. I arrived at 9 pm at night and was locked out of both the building itself as well as my unit. The spare keys were up north - 3 hours away. My husband called security at First Services who then reached out to Tim Truman our property manager. Tim contacted security and a lovely woman named Marni came to our rescue. All this took place in less than 10 minutes from the time of the initial call. Just wanted to give a shout out to Tim and his team. I thought for sure that I would be searching the strip looking for a hotel with a vacancy for the night until the front office opened the next day. While I do not recommend leaving your keys at home - it was nice to know that in an emergency they were there to help.

Delancey Place in Marlton, NJ has been through its share of (not good) property managers since I bought here in 2008. Cheri is a welcomed breath of fresh air! As a homeowner, I truly appreciate her level of communication, professionalism and willingness to assist in Association matters. While my personal need for contact with Cheri is not often, every encounter I've had with her thus far has been positive and quickly resolved. Keep up the great work and please don't go anywhere!!

I am a resident of Sterling Glen in Williamstown, NJ. Beth has been an asset to the development as acting manager of our HOA. She is responsive and takes the concerns of the residents seriously without showing partiality to one or the other. She tries to the best of her ability to work along with the residents and the board members to rectify any and all issues pertaining to the properties in this development! I think the powers that be should know what an asset she is to First Resident Property Management!

I am reluctant to review our community manager, Cheri, as I don’t want any other management companies to steal her! Managing Victoriana demands much. Cheri’s expertise is her willingness to control all of the small incidentals which ultimately add up to finest command of a condominium. It is appreciated by many.
