Cash out option is very shady. They’re offering me a little more than 2/3 the value, because they’re a business and they have to “make money”. Completely understand they need to make money but 30% of the value - is a shitty offer. Then I’m also told I could sell it on the market for the full value with minor touchups. They are also happy to list the property for me. Sure now that we’ve built all this trust, they’ll be my realtor in the future. Don’t waste your time, I really feel they’ve wasted mine.

I was considering selling a rental property I've had for several years because I needed some extra cash and my tenants had just moved out. I get these cards in the mail all the time. I've called a few of them and have always gotten these lowball high-pressure offers. When I received First choice home buyers postcard, with the picture of Steve's family, it seemed to be a local family-owned company. My first thought was that it was probably a stock image of some family. Sure enough, that was Steve when I first met him. He looked over my house, gave me appraisal values for my house, and then gave me a few options to try and fit my needs. Zero pressure which was a relief. He said to look over your options and let me know if any work for you. I wanted the quick sale option so a day or two later I reached out to see if he was willing to work on his offer and after a few phone calls he worked it out. From there on, it was pretty quick and painless. They handled the title work and reviewed all the settlement numbers before we scheduled the settlement. Honestly, I think I was in and out of the settlement in about 5min with a check. I have more rentals I will eventually sell and I'll be calling Steve First.

I recently sold my property via Brandon Landolf of Skyward Investment Inc. At first I was skeptical of selling direct to a buyer without the assistance of an attorney, leery of perhaps being scammed. Nonetheless, having a pretty good antenna for for feeling people out, after meeting with Brandon at my house, that skepticism was soon dismissed. When I reached out to Steve and Brandon came out to my property I was so happy they had options. It wasn’t just a cash offer. I was looking to capitalize on my first home I was selling and their EPP program let me get as much as I could out of the property without dealing with agents and inspections and negotiations and appraisals.
