If you wanna get taken advantage of and be treated like anything possibly wrong with your property or your home, is your fault go with these guys. Chad went out of his way to pressure me into a home and which didn’t have a crawlspace. All the electricity wasn’t hooked up and told me I could not get an inspection done. After purchasing my old home and fortunate me into this home, I find out that my land that I agreed to buy that they should have made sure it was all there is not, and it’s been approached upon by a farmer when I brought this up to their attention, I was told I’m done dealing with you. so now I have no other recourse Then to call an attorney and take these people in front of somebody who is an authority. Not something I wanna do, but it’s something I have to do If you want your family to avoid this, avoid this company because they are terrible

We purchased our home in Crawfordsville represented by Katie Viers. The sellers were represented by Donna Strand at Carpenter Realtors. We had an in-person meeting with the owners, Donna Strand, and Katie Viers all in attendance and repeatedly asked about any radon issues prior to signing the contract. We were told point blank, "there are no radon issues" by the owners and emphatically reiterated by Donna Strand during our meeting. The sellers had done substantial work over the years to this historic home and had files documenting improvements and a deep understanding of specifics like antique brick freeze/thaw cycles and historic home issues. The sellers were highly respected Wabash professors who had lived here 30 years so we took their word and assurance from Donna Strand that "there are no radon issues".After purchasing we discovered there were not only radon issues, there were massive severe radon issues that have proven difficult to resolve 18 months later. We phoned Katie within a week of possession notifying her of the radon findings and were told "sorry, it's our fault" because although she remembered the sellers and listing agent conversation we failed to ask if they had done any testing so the sellers and listing agent were off the hook for any responsibility. There is a big difference between being told, "there are no radon issues" and the lack of asking if testing was done. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in an agent's representation of a client. I cannot recommend Katie or certainly Donna Strand as their lack of concern for our health is reprehensible. It's now been over 18 months and we have yet to find a radon mitigation specialist to fix the problem and being law abiding honest people, cannot sell the house without giving full disclosure of the radon issues to any prospective buyers. Buyer beware. In our opinion we were not properly represented by the purchasing agent and certainly not by the listing agent.
