Good staff on reception.
But resolving problems can take sometime.
They have a good maintenance individual but he’s very busy keeping up with all the requests ..
So you may wait a long time to get things fixed.
Otherwise not too bad to rent from.
Over all not the worst but not the best but tolerable.

Applied almost a month ago... Dropped everything off, including payment and even included more than what was requested for verification. Never received an update on my application, or a call. Even at the time of writing this, I've gotten no word back, approvals or denials, just silence. Oh, but they were very happy to take my processing fee.

This review should serve warning to any family that is seeking a home. This property Management's application process is broken, and in my case, might as well been a scam for $25.

Save yourself time and go to a real property management who respects their clients and process applications in a timely manner, not property managements that require you to call for constant updates on what they should be doing as their job to begin with. Good luck.

EDIT: my family and I have been living in our home for a little over 7 months now and I still have nothing but amazing things to say about Excel property management. All my problems have been resolved in a more than acceptable time frame and any time we have any questions or concerns they are right on it. I recommend them over and over again to anyone who is looking for a property management company who cares about everything they should and more.

Everyone at Excel Property Management is AMAZING. I have been looking for a place for rent for what seems like forever already and I have yet to come across a single property management with this much communication and timely responses. I applied for a property on a Thursday and on the next Monday I was approved. Although I haven’t gotten my keys yet I am forever grateful for everyone that has been on top of everything for my family and I. We have gone through the worst of the worst over this past year and a half of looking for a place to rent and we are so beyond satisfied with everything they have done for us and we absolutely can’t wait to move in.

The way they conduct their business is very unprofessional. Manager is never available to speak to. The 1 time she was in the office she yelled at me from her office and never came out to the front desk. They were never on top of my maintenance requests. The 21 days that they say you will get your deposit is a lie. I waited over a month and had to keep calling them. Only to finally get it and I'm being charged for things that I shouldn't have been responsible for. They are also keeping 6 days worth of rent that was already paid for and said I need to be patient because "Martha" said yelling from her office that she wasn't going to lose money from her pocket. I would never rent from them again or recommended them to anyone. They've tried to take advantage of me by charging me in April and May a late fee. I argued it because I was never late on my rent. All of a sudden the check was found. Now they are taking advantage of me by keeping most of my deposit. Horrible, money hungry company.

Horrible customer service. I asked them is there certain people you are nice too because they were very rude. Receptionist lies about the property nanager being available. When i moved i had 3 cleaners clean. I got a bill for $2000. Some was for putting in an air filter light bulb and putting a letter on the door. The place was clean when i left. And nobody will talk to me. Leno wont answer he says he has nothing to do with Excel but he rents to people i know. Very bad place to go thru

Trust the reviews... We applied for a house. Said it would take a week. After a week I called and they said they couldnt get a hold of any of the landlords on our rental history. So i started calling past landlords whom informed me that they had talked to Excel so they lied. After THREE weeks, we got a denial letter. They denied me saying 1, my credit was bad which my credit is close to 700. 2, denied based on our income which our income is OVER 3 times the amount they ask for. And 3, denied based on rental history because they "couldn't" contact anyone. It was basically a waste of time and a loss of a few points on my credit.

I applied through a different property management on a Monday and we were approved for a house by Thursday! I wouldnt waste your time or money here!

Horrible customer service. Receptionist lies about the "manager" Martha being available. Martha does not call you back. This company lied to the owner of my house and said they spoke to me when they NEVER have. They don't care about customers. I will be giving a thirty day notice I won't deal with poor service like this.

My review is an update I had been with this company for 3 years and it was good at the start and threw out we never had an issue within the 3 years but when it came to moving out they are claiming that we didn’t not leave the apartment in “ perfect “ condition after being there for 3 years the apartment was left in good condition I have pictures before and after I’ll be post on here soon and be updating so you can get an idea of how this company really is
