What a wonderful atmosphere to live in. Really enjoyed our years at Esencia Sur Apartment Homes. Was very happy and appreciated everything the staff did for us. From the beginning Sofia had such a bright personality and positive attitude and always there to answer questions about the amenities. Jacquelyne was very professional and helped to make everything run smoothly. Mauricio made sure the whole complex was clean and worked very hard to keep it look appealing. Gerber was efficient with his work and showed up in a timely matter to fix things and of course with a friendly smile. Thank you and all positive things to say.

I had a tour today with Sofia. She was professional, such a nice personality and so helpful in telling me all about the apartments, the area and everything I needed to know to make up my mind after viewing 4 other properties. Sofia is 10 plus stars for sure! Can’t wait to move there and enjoy the beautiful amenities and apartment. Thanks so much!

We highly recommend Esencia Sur! We thoroughly enjoyed our last 1.5 years of living there and would still be there if we didn’t just buy our first place in RMV. Despite other reviews, we had the best experience living there. Everyone in the office and maintenance are super responsive. For example, We had an issue in the middle of the night where our fire alarms would not stop beeping and called after hour maintenance. Within 20 minutes, someone came to fix it for us. Every other apartment I’ve lived at, you have to put in a ticket order for 24-48 hours. Not only that, but the apartments are very upgraded and have amazing amenities. Also, just have to note how amazing the office staff have been once we left. All of our carryover mail and such, they have been so helpful and just honestly treat you like family. You couldn’t ask for a better place to live! 🙂

Today my family and I took a tour of Esencia Sur apartments. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed at the professionalism of Sofia, the leasing agent. She is very knowledgeable and made us fall in love with the apartments and community. We are looking forward to living is this beautiful community.

Don't Rent here! Worst place I have ever lived. The staff and Western National PM are the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. Run don't walk!!!!! Jackie is rude and has zero people skills!! Sophia is two faced so nice when you are inquiring about apartment, however, once you move in she bad mouth's you to the staff! On top of all this the police at the complex on a weekly basis. We paid to get out of our lease best money we ever spent!

These are fine apartments. Wish I could say the same for the management who is unwilling to apply logic and decency when assisting it's residents.

Spent an extra $50/month for nearly 3 years for an additional parking space for my wife.
We needed to conduct a military move and notified management that we would need to use a guest parking space to accommodate our U-Haul. They received and responded to our notification. My wife and I then went to use the website to reserve the spot,.

APPARENTLY our reservation got lost in the cloud and our car was subsequently towed 24 hours before our Military move.

$460 later we were able to get the car back from the towing company and conduct the move.

And wouldn't you know it, Esencia Sur and its management team had zero interest, zero compassion, zero decency, and emphatically refused to help us get a
refund of that $460 bill, citing "company policy" Thanks!

For the record: Sofia at the front desk assisted us wonderfully, but was handcuffed by management and was at the mercy of their decision to help us or not.

We have lived here for over a year now and we love the place. All of the community facilities like the pool, gym, clubhouse and BBQ are great, although they were closed during the pandemic which was a smart move, and they are just now opening back up. We have interacted with both Jackie and Sofia on dozens of occasions during that time as have our guests who have stayed here with us from time to time. They have always been incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. The property maintenance staff is there at a moment's notice if you need help with something. And there are great hiking and biking trails nearby within a few hundred yards of the entrance to the property. The place is super quiet, with a large completely empty piece of land just behind the property. Sendero Gateway marketplace is a couple of miles away and Mission Viejo Mall is close by. I rented our place from Jackie the first day I visited the complex and it has been everything we hoped it would be.

Visited the facility today to tour a 1 bed apartment and I was very impressed. Sophia was very professional and kind. The facility is to die for. I definitely recommend touring this facility. So worth it. Reserved parking at an extra cost per month which is awesome! Washer dryers in the units and very nice units.
