I am a first time buyer and I had an extremely bad experience with this realtor, Erik Obeso. He showed a high level of dishonesty and unethical behavior. Let me get to the point.
I fell in love with his listing at 2835 Legends, Lancaster. My agent submitted a full price offer and we received a counter offer. We signed this counter offer immediately and submitted it to the listing agent. He replied in writing that our offer was accepted and that we are in escrow and submitted to my agent the fully executed contract signed by him and the seller. Next day my agent tried to contact him in order to proceed with the transaction, but Erik never responded.My agent tried to reach him over the phone, text messages and email, but never heard from him. Next day he just emailed the withdrawal of his counter offer, which was already signed by me as a buyer. My agent and her broker made numerous attempts to reach Erik and his broker, Rebecca Fults, to get an explanation, to find the reason for the breach of contract. They were ignoring our attempts to continue escrow. Next day my agent informed me that the property is in escrow with another buyer. Erik violated all ethical norms. I am very disappointed with his professional conduct. I do not recommend working with this realtor, Erik Obeso
