I'm a foreign investor who doesn't live in the US. After a few years of owning a property in Cleveland I can honestly say that Equity Star was way better than all the other management companies I got to work with. Professional, helpful and friendly. When it was time to sell the property Avigail from ES helped me navigate the sale and achieve the price I wanted. I was really happy to have been able to work with them, and I can only recommend them to others.

This is by far the worst experience renting, and i came from living in the projects! I can't even walk in the house without having an allergic reaction and ending up in the hospital! I am sleeping in my car in the driveway in the winter, they are doing nothing about the situation, going thru the proper steps with doctors and lawyers to resolve the issues but homeless while doing so! I was advised not to pay them, and take my rent to escrow, so that is my next step, but I would highly recommend not renting from this company, I am out of here as soon as I can get this lease broken! Horrible company and bad business!

The fact that yall told somebody to get a hotel if they are in desperate need is asinine and ignorant. It actually displays your level of hubris as a company. I have the same sentiments as the people giving this company one star. It seems you are accepting applications with the fee but cut us off afterwards. What are you and REMAX up to? Obviously up to something.

The responses the owner gives to these reviews are horrible. They are using horrible excuses and gaslighting people that just want homes. The responses are worse than the reviews. Please don't even comment on mine.

The worst living situation ever! I was renting. Had a gas leak that took them 3 weeks to fix. The gas company laughed at there Repairs and made them come back out. They offered me and my 3 kids 5 space heater to keep us warm for 3 weeks.My roof leaked every 5 months because they patched it instead of fixing it. I can go on and on but beware they just want the$$$$

My Mom applied for a home and paid the application fee. They lost the application and took her money and now won’t respond. I’m writing this review for her. My Mom is 71 and not tech savvy.

*edit: this is not a mistake. Equity Star Realty on Noble Rd. The person emailing was Alleisha. It’s very telling that they’re saying this. My mom has emailed and called for a week. Disputing the charges for the application with her bank. After seeing these other reviews it’s probably a blessing she didn’t end up renting with this company.

Having great difficulty to lease the property with equity star rental! The management is not cooperative. I have a requirement to move in ASAP. Filled out the application and have been chasing to know the status for application with no positive response from the property management.
Seems like company is window shopping with interested tenants and not proceeding onwards with serious tenants.

Do yourself a big favor and stay far away from this company. Unless you are looking for a place that doesn't respond to your messages and doesn't answer the phone. They will tell you that you are approved with a 760 credit score and then ghost you for a few days. After that they will tell you that they have decided to rent to another person. Application fee wasted on nothing.CROOKS

They attentively screen for new tenants to find well-qualified. Service is very good and prompt. Responsively address issues of tenants to keep them contented. The Equity Star is great, very knowledgeable, available, and responsive.
