This review is for Silver Towers and River Place:

Ever since Elite Management took over the tennis courts this place went from enjoyable to a complete disaster. First of all, the courts are in the bad shape. The courts are dirty and empty cans and trash are always on the courts. After rain the courts are not being cleaned. However, he gym membership went up from $130 for a family of 2 to $175 per month. The tennis reservations instead of $20 cost $40. And Elite Management wants additional $25 for a guest.

Seems like the manager by the name MATHEW, who imposed these rules of guest fees doesn’t understand the game of tennis. I am sure he has an outstanding background of the personal trainer but somehow it is hard for him to understand that in tennis you need to have at least two people on the court of the same level who have the same schedule.

That being said, the courts become very expensive…especially if you compare it to at least last year. Elite Management does nothing to improve the community and demotivates residents to use the facilities. Before I saw many people using the grill and the terrace as well as the courts. Now there is barely a soul on a terrace and the courts are pretty empty.

Not to mention that the app which allows the access to the gym doesn’t work for me. The app is not working to enter NOT just for me… it does not work for all of the residents of Silver Towers. This season is almost over and the issue is still not fixed. That being said, I have to pay fees and I can’t have access to the facilities and I have to wait until someone walks out and opens the door for me. How is that?

I also want to say that to accuse me of playing a lot is really disgusting. Yes, MATHEW, I used to play a lot. However every time I was playing, I was playing for the court. And to play more than 1 hour per day, I pay for 2 memberships, not for one. Over the years, I paid a lot of money for the court reservations at Silver Towers. And it’s a big disgrace to hear from MATHEW that I’m playing a lot and he’s “watching me”. First of all, this is none of his business how much I play. Second of all, he should be thankful that I come and play and pay for the facility. The courts are completely empty.

There is no button “like” but I’m sure I would probably get at least 1000 likes under my review based on emptiness of the courts, the terrace, and the grill.

We rented an apartment in Washington Heights. I had no issues with the company and 100% of our deposit was refunded to us. The super was nice. There were no roaches or rodents that I saw. The heat was great, we were never cold, and if I did notice a chill the radiators would usually kick on shortly after. Was the place in perfect condition, no, but it's 90 years old. For us it was great and we loved it. And I just want to reiterate that we received 100% of our deposit back! Thank you Elite Management and Orlando. From your friends, the Leinenbachs

One of the worst building management groups in the City. Any building owner that uses them will be considered "slum-lords". Unresponsive to tenants and always trying to get over on tenants. They make their money by not properly maintaining building and over charging tenants. All buildings managed by this company usually has numerous heat complains in the winter and deteriorating units once occupied. They are the worst thing that ever happened to my building and also a family members' building ( in which tenants got rid of since it was co-op)

Lived in an apartment managed by Elite and their staff have been professional. I never had a problem with them. I once had a medical emergency and had to call for make sure my rent made it on time. The staff was very compassionate during my calls with them which I appreciated during a difficult time.

when you sign on a new apt lease, management is supposed to give you new floors and new fridge and clean the entire apartment

this apartment was given to us with old floors, a stove and fridge uncleaned with grease spots hard to remove all over

in addition the windows slide open and you tell the superintendent and he says "oh just use the broom to close them again" instead of a long term solution

unacceptable for the amount of rent and brokers fee they require
