Easy Street Capital is 100% legit and came through when other lenders couldn’t. I was looking to finance a property that didn’t meet the minimum DSCR requirements with other companies, so I couldn’t even get approved—even if I wanted to move forward. Zach Edelman worked tirelessly to get me qualified and made sure we got to the closing table. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond. It’s insane how EASY it really was working with Easy Street. Being a broker, I am used to working with a ton of slow, non-communicative lenders. This was not the case with these guys. As a mortgage broker I work with alot of different lenders and I am always looking for great partners to refer business to. Easy Street is not one of them. I sent them our first deal together and it was a disaster from the beginning. They did a horrible job from top to bottom and broke every promise they made me . Because of them I am losing a deal, a client , and a referral partner. Do yourself a favor and find someone who will get your deal closed.

Used them twice. Good for quick easy closings but nothing else.

Over promise and under deliver on leverage. I was told I would get 90/100 or 85/100 but a week before closing they changed to 85/85.

Another time they told me I could close in a land trust but changed their minds 2-3 days before closing.

Their draws department is pathetic. They don't answer the phone and take their sweet ass time to reply to emails. There is a $300 draw fee and they don't even send anyone out to inspect. It's a $300 fee to look at pictures and send a wire. The draws department will also decide on their own to not fully fund a draw. Instead of calling or emailing you to say "Hey we aren't going to be able to send all of this because of XYZ. Do you want us to partially fund this draw or do you want to wait until we can see everything we need to?" They will just decide to send half the draw and make you waste $300 on a draw fee.

I sold a house on 1/8. The payoff was $2300 too much so they were supposed to send me a check after closing. I had to remind them a week later 1/15 to send the check. I also reminded them which address to send it to. Of course they took a day to respond and said the address has been noted and the check will be sent in 15-20 days (what a joke). It's now 2/6 and I have emailed them 2-3 days in a row asking about the check, no response. I found out they sent it to the wrong address. After confirming they have the right address in an email on 1/15 they proceed to send the check to the house I sold.

If you need to close with hard money in a few days or a week, use them they will close. If you have time and want the best leverage and customer service, use so many other options.
