On February 7th of 2023, I contacted the property manager and provided photos of the maintenance needed.
I had explained multiple times to the manager that the inside unit was leaking and had rotted a hole in the floor. I have proof of this and text messages.
Also in February, the AC company came out to recharge our AC unit because it had been leaking so badly. At that time, the tech explained that the inside coil was severely rusted and must be replaced.
On June 7th, the AC company came out to recharge the unit again and explained that if the coil was not replaced soon, the whole unit would need to be replaced. He took this to the manager.
On June 24th, the coil rusted completely through and fluid poured into the electrical causing sparks.
We turned off the AC and called the manager. The new maintenance man came out and fipped the breakers off to prevent fire and further damage to the property.
Since June 24th we have been told that they were waiting for an estimate to be prepared and then sent and approved by Dubrow AKA Nelson Management.
Today is July 9th.
We were told a week ago that a second company was coming to make a new estimate, they never came. We haven't heard anything from the manager on if the AC is going to be replaced or repaied.
I was told that she was trying to get 3 window units for us, then she said we would have 2 units by the first of the following week.
It has been 100+ temps here not including the heat index.
I emplore you to not do business with a company that so blatantly ignores the immediate need of the upkeep of their properties.
