We cannot say enough good things about Jenny Borwick of CHASE International Realty in Tahoe City. When we first entered the market, we assumed our house would sell quickly without much in the way of renovation because there had been an unprecedented surge in both pricing and sales in the Tahoe area.
Unfortunately, that boom had essentially ended by the time our house hit the market in early July of 2022. Our house pretty much sat, even after multiple price reductions, with little serious interest through the end of November, when we decided to ski lease to get us through the winter.
In March of this year, we signed on with Jenny Borwick of CHASE International (Dream Living Lake Tahoe) and she moved quickly and aggressively to make some simple, cost effective, changes that she knew from experience would appeal to the current Tahoe housing audience. As long distance sellers (we currently live in Washington state) her tasks were many and required going above and beyond what we had seen other seller's agents doing. Through her contacts and our own (we lived in Tahoe for 40+ years) we were able to keep costs low while making dramatic upgrades to the house and the yard...almost entirely under Jenny's watchful eye. Not to mention the extra stress and work involved on account of Tahoe's record breaking winter, leaving snow on the roof and in the yard well into June.
Incredibly, all deadlines were met and the house went on the market just before Memorial Day. Within 1 week, we were in contract to sell. Jenny also proved to be a great negotiator and we both felt confident that we got the best price we possibly could. We whole-heartedly recommend Jenny as a realtor with a solid work-ethic, abundant knowledge and experience, and above all...integrity.
