A nightmare from start to now. There’s a reason his reviews are bad and I highly recommend you all listen. They did my parents survey and it was incorrect. The scale is off. My parents needed a survey with correct dimensioning of the scale. My parents tried to contact him and he’s been unresponsive. Went to his office twice in one day, and multiple times days before, and he doesn’t open the door. Very unprofessional. I feel like he’s taking advantage of my parents because they do not speak English. My parents just want to do a project at their home but have been delayed. The township even tried to reach out to John Donovan. UNACCEPTABLE.

John Donovan took advantage of my parents, took their money, and did the property survey incorrect. He has been unresponsive and not answering. Not willing to make the corrections. So rude and unprofessional

Poor communication, let us know we would receive what we paid for and still had not received it for at least 10 business days. When I followed up they did not return my calls or texts and finally emailed me saying they still had not mailed it. Do not recommend if you are looking for solid communication and professionalism.

I am a New Jersey Real Estate Agent and ran into a bind, as there was a misunderstanding as to who in a transaction was ordering a survey. With four days left before closing, I called Donovan Surveyors. They were able to not only complete the survey the same day I called them, but were able to produce the actual written results, as well. I was able to pick them up and get them to the township, keeping within the parameters of the contract. Thanks to Donovan Surveyors, we were able to keep our scheduled closing.

Very poor communication. Does not answer the phone, reply to e-mails or text messages in any timely whatsoever. I had no faith that my scheduled survey would actually happen due to multiple failed attempts of trying to confirm the week of so I just sent a final text to cancel.
