I initially signed a contract with Don Jaramillo because I had been assured by friends that he had extensive knowledge of and experience with the sale of real estate. At the time I had no idea that Don's services would go far beyond providing expertise:

1. Having lived in one small, cluttered home on some lovely acreage for over 36 years, I now lacked the funds or stamina to maintain it, but was wholly intimidated by the selling process. Don sat down with me and clearly explained every step from inspection to escrow in clear layman's terms.
2. He then created a prioritized personal list for my family to follow to prepare the house for sale.
3. At my request, Don provided and sometimes scheduled excellent and reasonably priced services, e.g. photography, painting, and moving.
4. Just as my home was listed, the Covid 19 shutdown began. Don immediately adapted, familiarized himself with every aspect of the new regulations and restrictions and was soon able to resume showings under vastly altered circumstances.
5. In his easy-going way, Don got to know both my home and my family. He recognized that while, for some clients a house is an item in a portfolio and a move may be a simple sizing up or down, In my case my home was my only asset and selling it was key to enabling me to move to another state.
6. Finally, Don provided encouragement and reassurance at every step. He recognized that I was somewhat risk-averse, but balanced that with the need to discuss taking bolder steps when warranted.
