Kathy's customer service skills are very lacking. She had no empathy or accountability for my bad experience.
I rented a place from them at a $1K a night and the level of service was lacking. 11 bags of rotting Garbage were left in the home. Home filled with termites, Dead bird in the swimming pool. And the last day of being there, there gardener came at 7:30a in the morning with their lawn mowers and blowers. There was no accountability or apology on her end. Her direct quote "I have no control of when they show up" (In the email that welcomed me stated the gardner came at 9:30a-10a and on a day we were not going to be there).

Kathy and her team at Digs Vacation Rentals pay great attention to the needs of the property and the guests on the property in a timely manner. I cannot emphasize this enough. Not only is the service exceptional, but Kathy and her team are easy to work with because of their friendliness and professionalism. Property management is not an easy job. There are tons of demands put on Kathy and her team from both owners and guests. Kathy and her team handle all the demands, no matter how difficult.
Kathy and her team have managed our property for about 3 years. We have received lots of reviews from guests, and almost all of the reviews mention Kathy and how helpful she was during their stay by answering questions about the property (even though most questions are answered in the Guest Manual), almost to the extent of providing concierge services. Thank you Kathy!

Kathy is a stickler for detail, a great communicator and keeps her outstanding staff for long periods of time. We are thrilled to have her as the manager of our vacation rental in Templeton, CA. We had another manager and our switch to Digs Vacation Rentals has been well worth the management fees.

This review does not reflect the actual house, it was great. It reflects the accusatory nature of Kathy's comment saying that we burned the bbq cover. We never used the bbq (quite chilly in mid November) or took off the cover. Not only did we complete the long list of cleaning requirements at check out, we went beyond that to make sure all dishes were washed, load of towels were washed and dried, etc. Her tone and accusation were insulting and unfounded and no apology. Not again.

We had booked a a Digs vacation rental in Paso Robles through VRBO, but unfortunately my wife's parents had a covid emergency and my wife had to fly out to wisconsin. The place we had booked was non-cancellable/non-refundable. Digs was very understandable and cancelled oUr stay, and even refunded us the amount when someone else booked the same home. We did not ask them to refund us and so that was at their own initiative. Needless to say, 5 stars to them and will definitely stay at one of their properties again.
