Seems like a very nice equestrian venue. Unfortunately, I was there for an AKC sanctioned "FAST CAT" Trial. Some have mentioned it's "noisy." Well, you don't KNOW noise until you experience 35 barking dogs, all at once. From Great Dane's to yappy chihuahua's and everything in between. I will say that the hosting club's dobermans were very quiet. Good ventilation as it was 90F+ both Sat/Sun. The DG surface made the dog's times kinda "slow." For this reason, I can't give 5 stars. No pics as it's too dark to get a fast shutter without bokeh. I tried. Both my dogs got a total of 8 qualifying passes in.
I'd like to see a horse event here tho. I would think it would be quieter than barking dogs....

The entrances were not lit well at all.
The restrooms are outside, not in the event room.
So very new and large arena. Odd, it's named for a past politician.

The Dianne Jacob Equestrian Park is under construction. General Contractor is Hazard Construction in Lakeside. RFPs are being considered for park operator.
