Sea of Love is a Wonderful House on Dauphin Island, Al !! Very well stocked & equipped . Great appliances. Terrific Views. Nice wide open beach without crowds. Perfect location. Secure gated community. Lovely porch swing overlooking the Gulf. Big bedrooms with walkout sliders onto deck.
Great mattresses & pillows!
Enough parking for 4 cars on solid ground. New Boardwalk connects to a newly completed Beach Restoration Project. Breath taking views. Good fishing from beach.
Met the house owner, he was very friendly, nice & informative.
We will be returning to this house in a few months for another week in paradise ❤️❤️

We are staying here right now and had to call 2 times for the dishwasher not working and still doesn't. Now the washing machine doesn't work either! We fixed the garabage disposal for them. Oh and forgot the air conditioning is leaking from the ceiling in the hall way. We have bucket catching the water. Other wise the house is beautiful and clean. We have been here since Saturday and dont leave till this Saturday. This is very aggravating and frustrating! We will not book with this company ever again.

We were unable to park in carport due to trash and old construction materials. The waters pipes “ screamed” when turned on. At the end of carport, raw sewage bubbled up. Front porch light didn’t work. The internet didn’t work, the repair man wasn’t able to come until we had been there 3 days of a 4 day stay. Ceiling fan didn’t work upstairs. No lights in queen bedroom, and blind for king bathroom. In the king bedroom headboards was off the wall and laying on floor. We tried to make the best of the situation. But the raw sewage was the worst.

Stayed in one of their houses this past week for 3 nights

Cute little house has potential if maintenance were done and house gets cleaned and painted (looks run down from curb) also house is for sale, can’t believe any agent would allow a listing in this shape

The cleaning charge I paid for this rental is a joke since every dish in kitchen is filthy, oily, nasty. Coffee pot was disgusting as well so after first morning we decided not to cook since I won’t be cleaning their kitchen before & after I use it

Ppl have used all the kitchen stuff and not cleaned it befor putting it away (sad since we were provided dish soap for dish washer)

Deck railing is not safe ( rotted & loose), shower leaks water from under the raised floor, deck has chipped and pealing paint, driveway concrete needs repair (trip hazard), entry way walk needs leveled (trip hazard)

Place has potential but needs a lot of attention

We stayed at Dauphin Island Beach Club condo, 201a, for a girls only family trip. My first responses was it needed lots of updating and replacing of toilet seat fixtures and rusted hanging rack and shower head in bathroom. It was dirty. There was cracker, Nutra Grain bars and Slim Jim paper wrappers and crumbs in the rattan dresser, on window sill, on the bunk bed steps and imbedded in rattan night stand. The floors were so dirty we went to wipe up ice we spilled and towel was black. Sheets smelled like bleach but comforters and throw pillows were dingy. I had bites on my legs that I thought was from beach. The last night We were there my niece called me in the master bedroom to see the comforter on the king size bed we had shared the previous two nights and as clear as day on inside of comforter was a bug. We googled it and it was an adult bed bug. It was 1030pm or after we all packed up put everything in garbage bags and left that night. Got home at 130am that morning. My niece’s arm is all bitten up. I can’t imagine how many people and times that comforter was used without washing. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

This only gets 1 star, because 0 stars wasn't an option. Vacasa rentals on Dauphin Island was the worst rental experience I've ever had. Theresa in the main office was completely incompetent, and did not care at all that the listing she rented our family was dangerous and dilapidated. The railing and boards on the deck were sticking out far enough for a child to fall through with rusty nails exposed. Outlets didn't have covers. If you turn on the kitchen lights it blew the breaker to the fridge. There were broken lightbulbs laying on the deck. The hot tub was broken. It was missing a bed. The pictures on the listings are extremely outdated. Save yourself the turmoil and stay away from Vacasa rentals on Dauphin Island!

Tiny house in the pines is absolutely perfect..The split bedroom plan is so smart. Had everything you could possibly need. Was spotless when we got there. I can't say enough about this place inside and out was designed so well. Lots of towels, sheets , pillows. Even things for children right down to the dishes. Very quite street. If you don't want to be on the beach this is the place.

Beautiful house with private beach. Plenty of room for a large family. We rented a 2nd house for a couple of days to accommodate family who decided last minute to show. Only problem in the 1st house was the "white" towels. Most were stained brown. Really need to weed out old ones. We weren't sure if the brown stains were mud or blood. Yuck! When customers are paying thousands to stay in a home, we shouldn't have to go to Dollar General to buy everyone in the house their own bath towel. Otherwise, we enjoyed every element of both houses. We would use this company again.
