Absolutely horrendous company. They do not answer the phone, messages or emails. They do not perform even the basic tasks required for homeowners. They collect obscene HOA fees, and ignore their legal obligations. If I had the time and money I would take them to court for their negligence. DO NOT HIRE this company. If anyone has interest in filing some kind of group action feel free to respond or contact me. I am a condo owner, and small business owner in Cloverdale. I can’t believe they are in business, they should truly be ashamed of how they conduct themselves.

RUN!!!!!! Commonwealth Property Management is a sham. They made very questionable/fraudulent smoke damage claims on my huge condo complex, causing our master insurance policy cost to balloon from $70k to nearly $300k annually. Guess who paid for that? The owners did. 20% HOA dues increase two years in a row. Our HOA fired them, but the damage was done. Chad the owner is beyond shady. Our HOA was facing insolvency because of Commonwealth and owner Chad. And is now paying lawyers on top of this mess.

Commonwealth Property Management is the property management company of Cedarwoods Townhomes in Santa Rosa, CA. Under their direction, our townhome patio walls are full of dry rot and falling apart; the roof has several units with severe leaks and water damage (going on for 3 years without remedy); sidewalk lights in disrepair; and has not addressed these issues despite $400/month HOA fees. The HOA got sued for the water damage in a unit, depleting the cash reserves below legal limits to $5,000. The huge over-spilling garbage bins and accompanying rats go unaddressed. Now that they have helped guide our HOA to near bankruptcy, they are imposing a special assessment for the roof. This management company does not return phone calls from owners and keeps information from owners by providing minimal outlines of board meetings; as well as funneling all communication to the board through their office.
I can see why this business deserves an F rating from the BBB.

NO one ever answers the phone. Pick an ext, and it reroutes back to the main line and you are in a loop going nowhere. All you can do is leave a message and hope someone returns the call. In the past I've tried contacting someone and then got attitude when I fact checked them. Only time I was ever able to get ANY kind of assistance and a quick return call was when I was a board member of my HOA. Back then I mainly emailed everyone and was always given a prompt return email/call back. Left the board and now I get no where.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR PROPERTY. This is a very poorly ran company. Their response time is horrendous, and their property maintenance is minimal for the cost of their HOA fees. Even for emergency problems like broken water mains. They are very unprofessional and make me want to sell my condo and move out of a complex that I otherwise love. I would advise strongly against using this company to manage your property if you have one, and if you are using them I would highly suggest that you change to a different company.

Run. Run far, far, far away.

It is September 1st. I have just sent my hundredth email complaining about the neighbor's smoke coming in my bedroom windows, to the 5th employee I've been bounced to over the past year+ that I've been complaining about this with no improvement.
I just recieved an automated reply that the offices are currently closed in observation of the 4th of July.
This should tell you all you need to know about the efficiency and productivity of this company. Go throw your HoA fees in a ditch for all the good it will do you.

Do not answer or return calls Are they in business? They sent me a letter saying I needed to repaint a area over my garage that looks like it faded. It had been repainted several years ago. I cannot find out exactly what paint brand/number/color I need to use? They do not answer my messages except to tell me they have to ask the architectual committee. Still no response. They never answer the phone or respond if you leave a message. Seriously are these people pretending to exsist asa a real business? I just don't know?

We have had nothing but polite, considerate, interactions with this agency. If something needs fixing they send someone right away. They never charge us for repairs. I dont understand the low ratings. They do expect the rentto be on time, but this is normal as they are a business of,
