When we need a tool or whatever we always check with Commercial rentals and they have always been able to help us. This time wasn’t any different.
We called to see about renting tables for a cancer benefit for a five year old (Izzy’s Community Garage sale) in Augusta. They volunteered to donate the use of the tables and also volunteered to donate something for our silent auction.
This company stepped up for its community and it is greatly appreciated. Thank you !

Called to rent a 2000W Honda generator. Same generator we have been using for years but our carburetor finally died. Needed one for rodeo weekend and he quoted me a price and said it was good for pickup. Then proceeded to tell me they will pass on renting to us because we will be using it for the whole weekend to power a refrigerator and microwave. I told him that's what we've used our 2000W Honda generator for the last 8 years and he said yeah we're going to pass on renting it to you. I will never recommend them to anyone.

After being a loyal customer for 3 years, I had a bad experience with them on a skid steer rental in August 2015 that has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. We were told when we rented the skid steer that our rate included 40 hours of usage and that any overage above 40 hours would be "pro-rated". That was, in fact, not the least bit true. When it came time to return the skid steer with 58 hours of usage, we were billed for the additional 18 hours at the much higher daily and hourly rental rates. In all, the 18 hours of overage cost just about as much as the entire 40 hours included in base rate! So, our bill was $400 higher than expected on what should have been a $1,380 charge. We were not given any paperwork documenting their method of charging for overage time and there is no information available on a website either. Had we known this, we would have rented it for two 40 hour slots and paid pretty much the same price--a fact that I pointed out to them. I feel completely taken advantage of and the manager (Mike) refused to help out in any way, which would have been to reflect a truly "pro-rated" (as the originally told us it would be) surcharge in our bill. To my mind, this is no way to treat someone who had been a loyal customer and no way to run a business. I'm extremely disappointed in Commercial Rental in Macomb.

My first experience renting any equipment. I had my brother go in and pick up a tiller for me. He said The guy informed him it would need 25$ for 4 hours. I asked my brother when he was done tilling if we needed to put gas back in it or anything. My brother said no, the guy never told him to put more gas in it and it must be in the price of renting. So my brother returned it on time and then the next day I check my bank account. They charged 35$ for the rental. I call them up to ask why and the guy who rented it to my brother said it was "pretty crappy" I was calling to complain about the extra charge especially since we didn't clean it off or put gas in it. I reminded him he never told my brother about the policy and how were we to know about it if they didn't tell us. The rude guy said " it's on the sign and paperwork about the policy. I informed him it was not on the piece of paper we received and there was only a phone number to call and return it. I asked for the boss and if course he was not in the office nor did he return my call today like he told my brother he was going to do. I know it's only ten dollars but they did not inform us of the policy, otherwise we would have put the 1.50$ of gas back in it that we used!

The crew!! They rock!! Everyone knows there equipment, GREAT customer service! I could get equipment out of Peoria..but these local guys just always take good care of me and I want to keep the local Business strong! Thanks!!!

I have ranted equipment many times from Commercial Rental. Everything from hammer drills and scaffolding to rototillers, fork trucks and telescopic handlers. They have always been very helpful and the there equipment has been in great shape. I highly recommend Commercial Rental.

I’ve dealt with Commercial Rental for over 15 years, and every time I’ve dealt with them has been a good experience. They’ve got pretty much anything you could need, and will help you out with any questions you have. Their prices are fair, the service is great, and they’ve even got weekend hours, which is a huge help for working people.

Rented a shop vac, reasonable $10 for 4 hours. Even returned an hour early. Then, after the fact, they charge $9.72 for the bag that came inside it! No warning, no apology, and no reply. Not recommended, should have listened to other reviewers!
